Hishouzame doesn't suck but it's hella antiquated, too much for many people's tastes here.

That works. I prefer Special, but the smaller hitbox does make it rather easy.

It's not an option because then playing for score will consist of punching people in the face for invoking that goddamned meme. Which isn't even in the AC version.

I sorta like checkpoints in the sense that they encourage learning sections instead of just BS'ing them. But yes, checkpoint milking is dumb.
