One thing I forgot to mention in my post last night...I'm not sure about 1.5, but the rest of the leaderboards were very, very bare. Not a single one with more than 50 entries. I'm hoping it's just because the majority of people are choosing "Play" instead of "Score Attack."

i can confirm that this looks absolutely gorgeous on a low-res crt through a emotia.
in fact if there was a low-res mode i would probably not even use it.
I did a test with Deathsmiles, low vs high res through an emotia, and hi looked much better for some reason. Low looked over pixilated, I still don't understand why.

Told you.... there is no point to those low res modes. Well Futari is the exception.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
absolutely loving the game. i can't really say that there is significantly more/less slowdown than in the ps2 version. there are some points where the game slows down for no reason, like at the beginning of stage 3. what's interesting is that i used probably 4 times the amount of continues for maniac compared to the ps2 version and this bugs me a lot. don't know if it's stick lag or i'm just so all over those graphics that i can't concentrate.
Of course there's a point, this is supposed to be a port. A version of the game that simulates the original version as close as possible, graphics and slowdown and all, needs to be there first.
Port's still good though.

Wasn't this something on the PCB? Sounds familiar...

As far as I know this is the only way to redownload things that aren't visible on the marketplace.
You could remove the profile after downloading if you like, assuming the DLC's license is for the same console you're using. If not there is a legitimate way to move the license to your new console, which you should do if you want to access the DLC using other accounts.
Can I just transfer the account that downloaded it, redownload, and then transfer that account back to my US360? Or will that not work?

Likely, you could get the DLC content onto your US console, but the game won't boot since the regions don't match.
I really enjoyed my first credits on the port... I think it ll get a lot of play this weekend waiting for the F1 GP.
(and the fact we got again full colour paper manual is heartwarming... when i see how paper is treated overhere >.< i despise finding only a black and white 2 pages leaflet with half taken by epilepsy warning).
Darn even the DLC card is pretty

I got everything figured out, thanks guys.
It was an ORDEAL. Got home at 5. It's now 6:40. Still have to return everything to its rightful place.

1.5 is steady rockin' my nutz off. The remixed music is awesome, the revamped color scheme is badass, the reinforced enemy placement is fresh, and the readjusted difficulty makes it everything I wished the original release would have been. The DLC is THE reason to purchase this game. I now wish I would have sprung for the PCB when I had the chance.

Yeah the Max modes to me are up there with the funnest clears Cave has ever made. I wouldn't buy the port without the 1.5/DLC.
I'm actually having a ton of fun with every mode. I'm not terribly good, so 360 Original and Arrange are right up my alley, but I love Futari Black Label, so 1.5 is the bees knees. I also love the Mushi and Arrange soundtracks. I'm not so hot on 1.5's soundtrack, but it's still good.
And these patterns are what I've been missing. DFK and Akai Katana don't have anything on the fluidity here. These aimed, globby shots are fantastic.
The port is lovely. I have only played the PS2 version, so I could never appreciate the nice designs of the backgrounds. The PS2 version looks like trash compared to this.
The graphics are a bit smooth(not really much more than usual) for my tastes, so I just hook it up via SLG3000(which is what I do with any port that doesn't have high res backgrounds anyway), and it looks perfect.
So, how accurate is the slowdown in this? I remember people complaining like mad about the PS2 version, so I'd like to know how they did on this one.
I'm glad I got this one, since I think CAVE are on the slide...best get the old classics.

Which sucks for me because I have to go somewhere to do this, oh well, at least I can download 1.5 while I'm at it lol
I've never "updated" my console. As in, I never do anything on-line with the console. Why would I need to "update"?

I don't think you can redeem DLC codes without being connected to xbox live. And I think you're console has to be running the most current version of the dashboard in order to do that. I could be wrong though.

The SE cover is TEH SEX!
I really wanted to get the LE, but the price was too much.
On a side note...I think this game is actually 1CC-able. It seems easier than Futari 1.5(normal mode). If I can pull that off, I'll be up to a whopping 4 1CC'd games. Hoorah!

I know I can't redeem DLC. I don't do DLC or anything on-line. In order to play the game on the disc, do I have to "update" or do anything with "live"?
On my older dashboard the game would not play. I think its the first time I've had to update just to play a disk. Doing the update is easy, as soon as plugged the eathernet cable in it prompted the download, console relaunches once or twice and I was good to go. Once you have Mushi disk in hit the home button and press left a bunch until you see "Redeem Code", input that rediculously long code on the back of your DLC card for the 1.5 goodness.

So if I don't "update" my console, the disc will not play?!
