Title: Mushimesama Release: 24th May 2012 (JP) Platform: Xbox 360
Standard Edition ///// Limited Edition
Aside from the original game, a beginners mode and arrange version will also be included. All first prints will come included with a download code for "ver 1.5". The limited edition will include an arrange soundtrack CD
I assume that has been binned now that they have decided to concentrate on stupid handheld games.

I'll reserve my erection for when it actually materializes on the system.
"It's a joke how the Xbox platform has caught shit for years for only having shooters, but now it's taken on an entirely different meaning."-somebody on NeoGAF Watch me make Ketsui my bitch.
I hope this does include 1.5. Obviously the ideal would be for it to include the works (so arcade modes, PS2 arrange and 1.5's mode).
I think we all had a feeling after 1.5 came out on PCB that this news about Xbox 360 was coming. I had my fingers crossed anyway! I was 'expecting' a downloadable release. Is this in fact an allusion to a boxed release coming?
And we got this news in about the same week DDP Maximum, DDP DOJ iOS and DDP SaiDOJ got confirmed/announced!
I can't keep up with the volume of Cave news right now. If this is them not focusing on shooters, I'm cool with the volume (and yes; I'm being daft. I realise that the shmup scale-down is something that will effect what we see from Cave further down the line).
I am just DYING to have this on my 360. I love the iOS port a lot, but it's definitely lacking in some areas to me. Yes, Cave, your nefarious plot is working!
This is killer news; so far, 2012 is feeling awesome~

This latest wave must be Cave giving shmups one final chance to see if they're still profitable. If they fail, they'll probably decide "Well guys, we really tried, but this shit just doesn't sell...time to make more updates to Sengoku Farmville."
By the way none of you has mentioned what EOJ translated from Asada's blog and it is this is going to be their last game/port on current gen systems. He saya that have already begun developpement on new non announced systems *sighs* I thinks this means no IBARA/IBARA KURO on 360 and saidaijou neither. I can't understand it they've could release every single port on 360 but it looks they don't want it. They just prefer to push the ios dumbed down versions instead

Imagine a spilled cup of coffee totalling your dick and balls in one shot, sounds like the setup to a Death Wish sequel.
I've been dying to play this... please CAVE let it be true.
Haven't played shmups since Akai Katana Shin and that was almost a year ago.
Although they said this will be the last 360 Cave game, maybe if the sales for this do really well, they may reconsider. I really want shmups to be on console instead of iphones.

Hopefully this version does a better job with slowdown and tate. Mushi PS2 gets rather derpy with slowdown, and good luck not gouging your eyes out on a vertical screen.

Likewise, I think DDP DOJ was picked as the next iOS game to help promote DDP SDOJ in arcades.
Perhaps DDP DOJ BL could be published for 360 again, only this time published by Cave themselves and not using stolen PS2 code? One can only hope.
Sad to hear this is going to be their last 360 port, but I´m grateful for the outstanding support they had for the platform. So many great games to keep me occupied for years.

360 pretty much seems dead in Japan. With AKS not doing too well and IB going to the bargain bin within weeks it makes sense why they'd move on.
Yes, it's unfortunate that they won't be porting Ibara/Ibara Kuro or putting Dangun Feveron on Live, but we've received 10 disc releases (including DFK BL Package Edition) and one download on the 360. This has been one exceedingly port heavy generation for Cave.

I thought the iphone games would be right up your alley?
No, the iphone games aren't "impossible".
No, I don't do my gaming on the Gameboy 2012 or whatever the latest small screened child silencing toy is for family trips to the beach.
As someone else said in this thread; I'll wait for it to materialise before getting excited because the last word from Cave officially was that lots of developments have been frozen so that they can concentrate on farting out cheapo games for phones and handhelds.
