from this page it must be the 17th track of the CD (you can see vocal version wrote on it)GaijinPunch wrote: Hang on... I'm lost. None of the tracks have words, in the least, and the words don't match any of the dialogue in the stage stories either.
http://cave.shop-pro.jp/?mode=f6
it is the music of stage 3 in the game.
here you can listen to a midi file with the dialog wrote on the page:
http://curious-cat.net/cave/music/yomi.html
The text dialog for the vocal version was wrote by Inoue before he worked for Guwange.
But I don't have this CD so, I could be wrong

OK. Sorry. Actually wasn't at all aimed at just you icycalm. You did indeed explain very well. I was purely expressing surprise at how riled people became about the whole issue when we're all here to share passion in a hobby.icycalm wrote:Nonsense your mom. I explained perfectly well what that was all about. If you are too dumb to understand it it's your problem.spadgy wrote:And what's all this nonsense over the word 'milk'...?
I'm just all for being nice, and I'm obviously a little dumb.
Just a thought on topic; I've only fallen for Progear in the last few months, and before I was unsure of horizontal shooters other than Gradius. Now I'm into them quite a bit. Any Cave experts thing we might see another hozi cave game?

Show's there's always so much to learn. I was aware Death Smiles was a hozi but I didn't realise how recent it was. Not sure how I missed that! Thanks guys...thegreathopper wrote:I am no Cave expert but Death Smiles is horizontal and out at the moment.spadgy wrote: Any Cave experts thing we might see another hozi cave game?

Should Cave go with a new HD or medium resolution system, I'd rather they launch it with a highly recognizable sequel (e.g. E.S.P.Ra.De. 2019~Yaksa Returns, DDP5).
While their standard res fare still looks good, that's not to say I would mind seeing them go with high res sprites. I wouldn't want them going 3D for graphics unless they could pull off the shmup counterpart of Battle Fantasia or what's been so far shown of Street Fighter IV.
This thread has almost gone to Hell; let's get it back on track.

As much as it would interest me, I just don't see Cave changing their hardware any time soon. With the massive investment in time and money this would represent, i'm sure they'll be sticking with their previous hardware revision until they've milked it for all its graphical possibilities. On top of this, i'm sure they would have made some kind of announcement. Dunno though, they can be pretty secretive/obtuse when they feel like it.
I imagine I will be proved wrong over the next few weeks

Ah, yes, that is the name of the song. What's w/ the lady though? She doesn't really any characters in the game specifically. Guess we'll have to wait another few weeks.lmn4096 wrote: from this page it must be the 17th track of the CD (you can see vocal version wrote on it)

Well, I kinda do. Not in the sense of "power", but in the sense of asthetics. And more powerful hardware could represents Jun's artistic vision even more than Guwange(which was amazing). So, I find that an exciting possibility.moozooh wrote:Yeah! Because we know we play our Cave games for graphics!PROMETHEUS wrote:P_HAT wrote:

I can't believe you guys are suggesting hi-res! What a bunch of sellouts! As far as changing hardware, I doubt it. As GaijinPunch put it, Cave are afraid of change. Why change now when they've mastered the hardware they're using? Why change to a higher res when they are so well versed in this one? Why change musicians when namiki is so popular (:P)?
Quick question for Guwange/ESP Ra.De CD holders: Were the tracks remixed at all? Are they high quality?

Those aren't bad. Mushihime-sama was pretty awful (save stage 4, and the Shin Aki track). Galuda 2 was pretty lame as well I thought. Futari... pretty meh.The soundtracks for DOJ and Ketsui are all-time classics
The first Galuda has the best of the soundtracks that fit in that cheese pop genre... the only problem was it was outdated by 5 years by the time it came out.
That's b/c you're doing it wrong.the graphics and music are awesome, the rest sucks

games have been increasing resolution through out the years just like all visual media. if there wasn't folks "selling out" we'd be playing shooters that still looked like atari.I can't believe you guys are suggesting hi-res!
i don't think new hardware is needed but i wouldn't bitch about it either. as long as it didn't mean crappy, fake hi res, automis wave like, snk shit.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Have to agree. If accepting new technology is selling out, then 'selling out' is the only way to progress...Strider77 wrote:games have been increasing resolution through out the years just like all visual media. if there wasn't folks "selling out" we'd be playing shooters that still looked like atari.
That said, I'm not particularly bothered about Hi-Def in general. It's fine, but not important to me...

Nothing wrong with that, except...EOJ wrote:Probably something with scantily clad girls and/or big boobs (just a wild guess).
I got the Mushihimasama INH DVD for x-mas from my girl and opened the package in front of my family on Christmas morning and I was just a bit embarrased. I'm not sure why they thought Reco's nipples should glow through her shirt, but it did raise a few eyebrows from my family.

Well the past 3 years have had Yagawa's games come out in April-June, so I'm not sure why you think they'd break that pattern now. Ikeda just finished Futari BL (well, presumably. We've yet to see the staff roll). What has Yagawa been doing the past year? Makes little sense for Ikeda to slam out a new game in a couple months and bump Yagawa's game to the critical Fall season.
I'm happy if it's an Ikeda game or a Yagawa game, I just don't see any reason to assume they'll break with tradition now. Certainly no evidence to suggest that.

B/c Futari isn't a new game. My point is that this doesn't count for "his game". His role has slightly changed, but that's also part of the point. Cave wasn't "supposed" to put out anything w/o IKD or Yagawa at the helm, and we got Death Smiles.
