I couldn't find the options menu for a while (for others having trouble finding it, click on the three dots at the top of the title screen). Same goes for the return to menu button after game-over. You might want to default the tutorial to on for first-time players.
My biggest gripe with the game is the acceleration time when starting to move. It's not quite full inertia since direction changes and stopping are still instantaneous, but it makes adjusting my position feel awkward (i.e. when I want to correct a small positioning error by nudging over a little bit in a direction). I can try to work around it by never stopping my movement, but that's awkward in its own right. If the intent was to make small movements more precise, it actually does the opposite for me.
NTSC-J:You know STGs are in trouble when you have threads on how to introduce them to a wider audience and get more people playing followed by threads on how to get its hardcore fan base to play them, too. 1CCs | Twitch | YouTube

Hey thanks for playing! I actually just took the acceleration out all together. Overall speed is a tad bit slower but no more acceleration. I assume you grabbed the gamejolt version as i haven't had time to update that one yet. I'll get it updated I'll work on making the options a little more clear
