Mobile Light Force: We Like Trains!

Post by seraph »

Gunbird is very silly. Prove me wrong.

Notes:
-The zako appear in random positions and at max rank they have no deadzone. They also release randomized suicide bullets.
-The three robots on the first car take turns attacking on the first loop. In the second loop they fire the patterns at the same time.
-There are no powerups. Dying at level 4 (which is temporary) will release two powerups. Dying at level 3 will release one (meaning game over).
-Rank affects bullet speed, deadzones, and enemy hp. It can only be lowered by dying.
-Bombs do not make you invincible. There is also a critical delay period both before and after the bomb goes off.
-The train stage might not appear in the second loop, but only if it was 1-1 or 1-3. The first loop stage order is random.

NTSC-J: You know STGs are in trouble when you have threads on how to introduce them to a wider audience and get more people playing followed by threads on how to get its hardcore fan base to play them, too.

The only character who doesn't have to do a level 4 suicide on the train is Yuan Nang because she can erase bullets with her charge attack. I think pretty much everyone else has to suicide. :V Also, I'm pretty close to a 2-all anyway~! :3

Marion is my girl. But you're welcome to MILF it up if you want! ;) I think (s)he is tragically underplayed.

Christ, only 2 scores on the forum hi score lists are actuall ALL clears?

Normally I'd conclude that 1cc'ing the game isn't really synonymous with scoring, but obviously these two scores are also by far the highest on the lists.

Welcome to Psikyo second loops. We have cookies.
Their later games, from Strikers 45 II onwards, are way less frustrating.
