God yes. Profile pic related. I'll buy 5 copies, Degica person. Please just make it happen.zakk wrote:Can you guys find whoever is responsible/owns the Raiden Fighters Aces code and just have them port that to PC plz?
That might seem superficially true, but you can't really know without studying the game. Dariusburst does a few things right, such as the (fixed) Burst not being nearly as overpowered.Durandal wrote:The original PSP version is inferior in nearly every aspect to CS. The only thing CS lacks is Burst Mode.
Maybe the pseudo-MAME-d Raiden Legacy emulation isn't an obstacle to bringing the Xbox 360 Raiden Fighters Aces developed by Gulti to PC. Gulti doesn't stake any claim to RFA so its development may have been financed by Success Corporation (of Psyvariar fame). I suspect the PAL contingent would be quite eager for a decent PC RFA to mitigate the curse on the PAL Tradewest/DTP Entertainment vapourware. RFA's North American localizer Valcon Games seems to have gone defunct (at least their website seems to be no longer operational).BPzeBanshee wrote:Don't bring up DotEmu's buggy mess of a product please.CStarFlare wrote:The Raiden Fighters games are already on PC.
Haven't heard anything from Taito. I think this would be really cool, though.CStarFlare wrote:Blackbird - since you guys are in contact with Taito, is there any interest from either side in rereleasing the PC ports of Darius Gaiden, G-Darius, or the other Taito shmups that had Windows ports back in the day?
(Ideally these would include Extra/Ver.2 revisions, which I don't think the original releases did - but some release at all would be nice)
Too late for this http://store.steampowered.com/app/407600/ I hope it doesn't nullify the chances of raiden aces release on pc. Looks like it's not exactly the same: 1 - 2 simultaneous players (local + online), remastered HD soundtrack for Raiden Fighters 1 & 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet, TATE support, online leaderboards. Maybe some of this was in the previous release but i don't think it had online coop.BPzeBanshee wrote:Don't bring up DotEmu's buggy mess of a product please.CStarFlare wrote:The Raiden Fighters games are already on PC.
Patches all three versions, right? (Steam, PS4, Vita)Blackbird wrote:Several patch updates tonight:
DariusBurst Chronicle Saviours V1.00 rev 4614
- The refresh rate has been locked to 60 fps to prevent excessive speed on monitors with refresh rates higher than 60Hz.
- Corrected the behaviour of the "Wave" weapon in CS mode. The weapon was incorrectly piercing through boss enemies instead of colliding with them as intended.
(Only Origin and Gaiden were working correctly before)- Corrected an error where the burst gauge would not fill up when attacking boss enemies in CS mode.
- Corrected the text in some scenes where it extended beyond the dialogue window.
They could do this, but if you don't go in exact increments of whole numbers of magnitude (i.e. x2.38475 instead of x2) the pixels will not look square; they won't even be uniform.Sadd wrote:Great update for Mushi, glad I don't have to use GeDoSaTo any more. One niggle is the game seems to upscale from it's native 720p using a blur filter, could an ini option be added to upscale using nearest neighbor instead?
I know, I still think it looks better. Obviously true support for variable resolutions is preferable but I don't know how realistic that request is.ZacharyB wrote:They could do this, but if you don't go in exact increments of whole numbers of magnitude (i.e. x2.38475 instead of x2) the pixels will not look square; they won't even be uniform.Sadd wrote:Great update for Mushi, glad I don't have to use GeDoSaTo any more. The same thing happens on my laptop, also 1366x768, but not on my desktop (1920x1080). I'm guessing it's because 1366x768 isn't exactly 16:9.BrianC wrote:I tried Mushihimesama. The display no longer fills the full screen at 1366x768, but the actual game area seems to be the same size. A minor thing, just a bit odd. I'm guessing it's displaying at 1280x720. Game runs smooth both with and without V-Sync and I didn't notice any stuttering.
They are silently updated. The Coop wrote:Am I the only one who doesn't seem to be getting these updates on Steam? I own all three games, and nothing's been updated yet.

Silently? What does that mean, having to redownload the game to get the updated version, rather than an auto-downloaded patch?emphatic wrote:They are silently updated. The Coop wrote:Am I the only one who doesn't seem to be getting these updates on Steam? I was playing DariusBurst this morning. I've actually played it twice since Blackbird's post, and nothing was ever downloaded.Zaarock wrote:Did you manage to launch one of them without it updating? If you don't have a game set to update at high priority they may not update for a while unless you try to start them.
YES PLEASE!Klatrymadon wrote:It's probably been raised already, but is Raystorm HD a possibility for a Steam release?
