Does anyone have Saint Dragon PCB manual?

Post by MJR »

I just happened to buy Saint Dragon jamma board, and I noticed that complete DIP switch settings are hard to get - All the DIP switch info thats available in the net is parsed from MAME, and therefore incomplete.

If ayone has the manual for the original jamma board in any possible form, please let me know - would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

:)

Check for dip settings of games by that manufacterer in the same year/period. Usually there is pretty standard stuff in there.
And the obvious: experiment. I think you can with the scan that was provided get a clear understandin of what does what.

Nice work Zach; I'll check if these are correct :)

EDIT: your interpretations for dip 1 are correct. I'll check the dip2 later. At least I can say that NORMAL+1 equates easy!

 so normal +3 equals super duper easy ?. I thought it would go, normal-> hard (normal +1) -> very hard (normal +2) > ultra hard (normal +3)

I know absolutely nothing about this game, but that was my understanding from the manual page as well. (The description actually reads something like "one step higher than Normal", but that was too big to fit in my chart and I was too lazy to respace everything.)

Whatever it is, it is definitely easier to play than in Raine (in normal+1 weapons never diminish fully, not as many enemies, not as many bullets, enemies seem to die even with fewer hits)

but yeah, I'm still waiting for my pal to translate it..

I've now got the translation.. and it was identical to Zach's version.

So his dip switch translation is 100% spot on; jaleco really does label difficulty settings as normal, normal+1, normal+2..

But yeah, there you go 8)

Happy times!

I got the original manual from ebay!

So the difficulty goes from 'normal' to 'most difficult'.
BTW, if someone needs the whole manual scanned, PM me.
