The disco theme is there because it's cool.

This game is damned addictive. I discovered it about a year ago or so and have played it fairly regularly, but it still punishes me.
Collecting the little dancers is a great addition, and adds a whole new feeling of urgency to each level.
I think this is a really underrated title, and deserves some serious attention from any self-confessed Cave fan.

Whenever my friends start asking me why all shooters are the same, this (and Guwange) are invariably the two games I show them first. Most people comment on the sweet soundtrack first and foremost, and a lot of times, they stop shooting on Stage 2 for a split-second or two to hear the tunes without all the SFX noise. Same thing with Guwange and Espgaluda's Stage 2 tunes. So damn good...

Digging this topic back from the grave: Ah! I didn't know about the wait-state issues with MAME. I mean, I know this game is supposed to be fast -- but that fast? I find myself always choosing the lowest speed on the MAME version. Now, I really want the PCB version, as despite the speed I love this game to bits!

WOW. Until you said that, I thought those were tomatoes I was picking up. Yes, tomatoes. There was just too much going on for me to squint at what exactly I was chasing after. And being colorblind doesn't help either.Ed Oscuro wrote:I can barely even see the enemy designs due to all the little men you have to pick up

How do you go about this, does anyone know?Q: This is the world's first game with a reset command as a hidden feature. What do you think of that based on effects it might've had on high score players and in terms of profits?
-There are people that require a reset command, so we put it there. (Crusty)
