BBC at its poorest, yes. Half of them would struggle with English grammar these days and they never check anything.LEGENOARYNINLIA wrote:"On 6 December 1917 Finland became a nation state with its own identity, language, cuisine, traditions and culture."

I'm with blunge, although not really.
I liked the semicentennial markka that was produced.

I wonder if the Finnish euro set got a similar treatment this time around.

YLE, the national broadcaster here, has stopped using an editor and the journalists don't use a spellchecker so at least 50% of the articles on their website have typos. Yes, I was 'getting' that feeling too. The kids laugh at me with my program editor, cursive handwriting, use of a fountain pen and my insistence on working things out on paper instead of a calculator. Also, they hate it when I don't have a Smart PhoneLEGENOARYNINLIA wrote:YLE, the national broadcaster here, has stopped using an editor and the journalists don't use a spellchecker so at least 50% of the articles on their website have typos. To be honest though, I would fear if they used grammar checkers as it would no doubt serve to restrict the language.
