Resonable priced 4K capture card!?

So I see magewell has one, and I also see Blackmagic Design also has one. Which is the best? I see the magewell one is much much more expensive.

Blackmagic Design - Intensity Pro 4K (200 euro)
vs
Magewell - Pro Capture HDMI 4K (500 euro)

Considering getting a 4K capture card to use with the PS4 Pro which can handle the HDR colors. Know of any reasonably priced?
as far as I can see the magewell is the only one which can handle rgb in 4k.

Also seems the Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus (900 euro) can support higher hz, not sure how this would affect me. But it seems to be the card you actually want.

I don't think either of those cards support HDR? You would also need a HDCP stripper that supports 4K and HDR.

It seems way to early to try to get a 4K and HDR capture setup anywhere near cheap.

nevermind, it seems only to use hdmi 1.4a standard, the ps4 pro uses hdmi 2.0a.

No clue what HDR really needs. Quick Google search seems to tell me it needs 10-bit color and some HDR metadata. At any rate, you still need a HDCP stripper that supports the newest HDCP version. And some playback equipment to verify your recorded footage is good.

Whatever you're doing, it'll be expensive and difficult to setup. What are you doing anyway? Just trying to archive all your gameplay footage?

But I'm not saving up money and shelving out that amount just to be able to record 4k and hdr. I could purchase many great video games instead

So I had a Blackmagic Design decklink 4k extreme 12g, however bought it on ebay and hdmi2.0b recording was broken. but it worked for hdmi 1.4, kinda pointless for me as I have a datapath card for that. anyways, from experience I can say the card goes very hot. so mine is a paper weight atm, trying to get atleast half my money back. black magic team looked at it and said it was broken and wouldn't repair or replace because warrenty was expired. Lesson learned: Don't buy expensive stuff second hand, especially not on Ebay.
