A new, one-button fixed shmup for computers and Android that has recently released an alpha version for free and it's very nice for pick 'n' play fun at the phone. Give it a try.

is there any actual challenge to this? I see the same enemy over and over again, spaced miles apart and a player ship moving back and forth for no reason. I'm down with minimalism but this doesn't seem like a game at all.
EDIT: nevermind, I just read the siliconera preview. Apparently the hook of the game is that movement is only achieved upon firing (i.e. you fire, the ship starts moving left, you fire again, it moves right). Would be helpful to explain a bit more in your post if you want people to have any interest because the first link to the YouTube video just make it seem like a really empty, boring shmup.

I guess "one button" was supposed to sum that element up, but around here that means Mars Matrix.
That is Galactic Dancing
Re: Switch ‘N’ Shoot
For anyone interested, this was released on Steam today.
Re: Switch ‘N’ Shoot
Has anyone played this game for high scores? My best is around 800 or so, but at my local arcade (which has the DMS Arcade cabinet!) the high scores are around 3,000. I know the final score multiplier increases after each level, but I'm not sure what the best scoring strategies are. Just get as far as you can? Milk enemies once you get a more powerful shot? If anyone has some insight I'd love to hear it
