I definitely played with autofire on. If you need the exact emulator version, I used WolfMAME Plus 0.83.

^^ Thanks! I usually try auto-off if if its an option; it helps me when I go the arcade I play because none of there shooters have external autofire devices...

Great hori, as usual with irem.
Also, the japanese version seems to be a bit harder, in stage 1 already i noticed that the enemies have more life.

I wanted to 1-ALL this, but I'm just too pissed off at this game to play it any more. The lack of checkpoints in stage 7 is what finally pushed me over the edge - getting sent back to the start of the stage after a death on the boss is more than I'm willing to put up with. Also my hand hurts like hell from playing this, but that's my fault for not using autofire.
