Lame I know, but I'm remodding my Virtua Stick High Grade, and I want the top buttons (PS, Start, Select ect.) to be the same colour as all the re-modded stuff.
Obviously these are smaller than stuff like OBF-30RGs which are soon to be the main buttons. Any idea where you can get replacements of those top buttons?
Or maybe just a button supplier who does every sized button under the sun? Quality doesn't matter too much as I'm not going to be hammering 'start' like I'd hammer 'X'...
EDIT - OK - I see there's a lot of different, Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons, so I guess I need to just take mine out and have a look and measure the size. But has anybody replaced these, thus already knowing what fits in?
Embarrasingly vain button question...
Yeah - I use them, so I'll have a thorough browse.jpj wrote:try browsing gremlin solutions![]()

Thing is, OBSF-24's are 24mm, and PS, Selct, L2 and R2 on the VSHG are 15 or 16mm.
My mistake on the Start button though - that is a OBSF-24, so I do need one of those... but the others a fair bit smaller...
Sanwa makes 18mm pushbuttons, but I dont think you're going to be able to redrill for those & squeeze everything in; and if you did, you'd have to rewire the entire top row of buttons after taking out the auxiliary pcb.
Just replace the start button with a 24mm sanwa in appropriate color, then pull out the select & etc buttons and spraypaint them. Sounds stupid but it works & doesn't look bad at all.

Exactly what I was thinking Cody... Thanks for confirming that it's a reasonable idea...cody wrote:Sanwa makes 18mm pushbuttons, but I dont think you're going to be able to redrill for those & squeeze everything in; and if you did, you'd have to rewire the entire top row of buttons after taking out the auxiliary pcb.

Looks like a trip to the local art supply store is in order on the way home from work...
