Official Muchi-Muchi Pork! [Cave 2007] thread

Cave has announced the title of their new vertical shmup. It's a completely new game called Muchi-Muchi Pork! (the exclamation mark is in the title). "Muchi-muchi" means "plump". It's often used in reference to women's bodies. Here is the first info:

It will be shown at the AOU show from Feb 16-17, and it will be playable. You guys in Japan should go check it out.

They mention they will open a "Muchi-Muchi Pork!" teaser site soon.

The logo looks crappy. As for information, the babelfish translation didn't give me any but I don`t think there`s too much for now.

@Sven666: It's just going to be a bit confusing when people start referring to this as "Muchi", when we still refer to Mushihime-sama as "Mushi". :lol:

And this game is going to be WACKY.

I think they heard a bunch of us complaining about all the fan-service in Mushi and Ibara, and were like "Okay then, you asked for it!"

IMO it's been way too long since we've had a real all-out "parody" shmup, kudos to Cave for (hopefully) being insane enough to pull this out of nowhere. Looking forward to more concrete info.

I think it's sounds like a winner already. This isn't a plain anime girl style like Pink Sweets, this is fat chicks and bacon. The possibilities...!

I'd like a dark, industrial shooter too, but we've got plenty of those already. If Cave wants to go cracked out for this one, I'm all for it.

Best of all, it'll be playable in just a couple weeks. Can't wait.

as big as this shmups forum is..Have any shooting developers even taken a peek at this website? (shmups.org) I like the idea of this game..but i dont think Japanese have any clue that Westerns even care about Cave development :oops:
