I said the same thing. I like the scoring system so much I borrowed elements from it when I started making War on Bugs way back when...

Yeah some people are trying to clown DFK 1.5, but not me. I think its a great game but I never got addicted to it. When I take the time to play I enjoy what I see, but I never feel inclined to try more than 2 credits a sitting. It could also have been that the autobomb made each credit last unnaturally long too. Not sure. Mostly because I don't like scoring in it, i'm a simple man.
I think I can agree with alot of what's been said as far as DFK 1.5 goes. I beat that game (first loop anyway, dont have the patience to get all the bees) without really trying. Though, I think the 2 arrange modes on that disc totally made the whole thing worth it. And for those that didnt think 1.5 was quite enough, I strongly suggest getting Black Label as well; THAT version is bloody amazing, as is the Ketsupachi mode.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway.
So, I've ended up liking Pink Sweets a bit more than MMP, much to my own surprise. Something about the gameplay just feels better overall. And that arrange mode is just amazing.
Are there any particular tricks to scoring in PS Arcade that I should know about? The whole thing seems fairly straight forward, but it cant hurt to ask. Oh, and what exactly produces the 1up? I've gotten it a few times now, and I have no idea what made it appear.
And one of these days I'll stop dying idiotically in stage 4. I do that in Arcade AND Arrange. Havent quite made it to the 4th boss yet, siiiiiiigh.
