The 16-bit days were full of awesome "universal language" warnings like that. My favorite was on some import TurboCD games, which had a drawing of an angry player stomping discs in half, with a big red X through it.
Typos caused by cat on keyboard.

The Famicom Disk System is probably the best example of this.

It came with two manuals: a standard technical one for the adults buying it, and a manga for the kids where Rumiko Takahashi-esque characters bring home a Disk System, give various safety warnings, and explain how the rewritable disks worked. I believe someone has scanlated it.

It says to only use a monitor which are specifically designed to be used vertically.
Normal home use TVs can suffer from color deviation (or outright break) if propped up vertically.
Also, Seibu cannot be held liable for any damages you cause breaking your TV by attempting to rotate it.
