Once he's on screen, go right on top of him, hold shot and mash (or autofire) the boost button.

For those of you who can't get XM6 Type G to open, install the 3 links at the top of this site: http://www.geocities.jp/kugimoto0715/xm6g.html
For those of you having issues with the JoyKey mode, make sure you go into Options->Joystick and set Device A to JoyKey, and Port 1 (or whatever it's called) to ATARI. You can configure some stuff in Details next to the Device A thing.
EDIT: To setup autofire, go into Options->Joystick, hit details on the device, create another button mapped for button A, set Rapid to 30.

Someone would need to test out if there are any differences. I have no access to a Wii...

I don't know how different it is from the other versions as I haven't played 'em.

Seems quite... uhh... different to me.

It says right in the title of that video that it's V1.1, we're playing 2.0
I think 1.1 might not even have 5 minute mode actually.

I still can't believe you guys voted for a ~5 minute game.

I don't see how that's a bad thing. A 5 minute game means it's a ton easier and faster to practice.

I'm not very well at the moment. Hope I can muster the concentration to give this week a proper go, I love Caravans. I couldn't put as much time into ESPgaluda as I would have liked.

Is V1 of the Wii version even the same as V1 of the 68k version?Deca wrote:It says right in the title of that video that it's V1.1, we're playing 2.0

What are the differences between 1.00 and 2.00 anyway? I'm mostly just curious but it might be useful to participants to illustrate why the difference is significant.

Telling from the video, it's definitely different. Some graphics were updated (the big ships look different), it has some new modes and options, including a mode with Xevious based tiles, and there may be some other differences. I'm not sure if it's based on the GBA one, but the video I saw had the mid boss shooting missles.

Re: STGT'12 Week 5 Voting: Doujin Week
I have watched the first three seconds and it is completely different already - enemy formations, floor tile formations, everything. It is, by any definition, another game.dan76 wrote:Here's a link to the Wii version - 2 minute mode.dex wrote:Someone would need to test out if there are any differences. I have no access to a Wii...
