In your conclusion, "...there can be doubt..."?

I think you mean "no doubt."

As usual, nice review, but what happened to the Dragon Blaze review?! It said coming soon, now it doesn't even exist. Are you still working on a review for it?

Love to read how you are so enthousiatic about this game.

Great review ord. You neglected to mention the games biggest flaw imo though - the "power down" machine guns. ;) Ranking didn't bother me, I like hardcore bosses (It's all about the bombs).

The few times I've played this, the thing that bothers me the most is the "electro purple", or the illusion of it. It tended to burn my eyes. Then again, I was playing in smoke-filled arcades, so that might've been it.

Nice job Ord, wasn't so hot on this before but you really sold me the port (if it turns out ok). Are those little nazi flags on some of the enemy ships btw ?

English isn't my first language so I'm treading thin ice here but is the first sentence under Rose medals really correct ?

Just ad a "t" in the middle of "is" and it's perfectly fine. It's a word that won't be noticed by spelling checkers so this easily goes unnoticed.

Nice review, in the middle of reading it now.

But was Brave Blade really the last Raizing/8ing devved shooter? Because 1944 The Loop Master was released in 2000 also....

Good stuff Ord, well written. You' have sold the game to me if I didn't already have it. ^_-
Time to change your sig now, methinks ^_-

Yep, Brave Blade is Raizing's last. Many don't consider 1944 to be part of the Raizing history - I've heard some some say it's part Psikyo, for some reason.

Regardless of whether or not it's part of their "history" it's still a Raizing/8ing game. If anything, the charge gauge in the game actually makes it more like "194X meets Giga Wing" since charging the gauge and using it causes your plane to be shielded from enemy fire for a few moments.

But yes, I know what you are saying now. Brave Blade was the last, true blue shmup devved by them for them. I will now stop splitting hairs. :(

Nice review! I've given this game a shot in the arcade a few times, but I usually don't get anywhere, so I can't wait to have this at home.

The title doesn't actually mean rose garden, though, but I guess it's close enough. ;)

BTW, the whole website is really nice, and I just read all your other reviews. I didn't even know your site existed. Maybe you should plug it more. Or maybe I'm just clueless as to what shmup sites are out there?
