I, too, will vouch for Meguca Meduka. It confused me very much at the start since I'm so used to my self-administered abuse; "wait what is this..... a goodcartoon.gif???"
In the grimdark world of magical garment girls, there is only grimdark.
I love how the battle scenes, brief though they be, try to be arty and make the average actionmu look shabby in comparison. Also: theme songs for everybody. If there's a magic girl animu out there with more decapitations than this one (and at at least one decapitation per episode, it's quite a big number) I need to know about it pronto.
Also got around to watching this new and exciting series known as "Neon Genesis Evangelion". It was very 80's and I enjoyed the elevator music used in the credits very much. The last couple episodes are a crime against humanity tho - it's neat to see what a literal $0 budget gets you in animation. Fun really does cost money, neh.
The Haruhi gaiden series coming up, I'm feeling tepid on. The paranormal themes are very important to me, as is Kyon's internal monologue. Because.
Being Kyon is suffering.

The ending is glorious. "Let's cram three years worth of the story into one episode because there's no way we're getting a second season." Glorious car wrecks are glorious.
PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.
