What options are there if I want a 16:9 Tate shmup? (With vertical screen.)
I just bought Shikigami no Shiro 3 for the 360, thinking that was 16:9 Tate. but no.
How about Under Defeat HD?

you mean that the whole screen is filled with the game? i know none.
and this would be a pretty horrible idea either way. although i'm not the biggest fan of 16:9 yoko games either.

Yes, the whole screen.
Well, I disagree on that point.
I ve been waiting a long time for a true 16:9 tate shmup, would love to have the whole 16:9 playfield to play around on.
...and then, I really like AK Shin.

Depends on the physical screen size and how far away you sit, not the aspect ratio surely?

If you mean a 9:16 game... I guess Star Soldier PSP is about the closest you're going to get.

Yeah this is pretty much it as far as anything released at retail goes right now.
I'd like to see more honestly, but part of the reason is probably because playing a 9:16 vert in yoko would be quite narrow.

Will keep looking and waiting.
I do really want a 9:16 shmups that incorporates the gameplay-area in the gameplay in a smart way.
I thought one would show up cos of all the new cabs going 16:9 and can also be Tated.
I got Sns3 for testing on my Net city HD project, but it was 4:3.
