Having experimented myself, it does fit that science documentary vibe nicely, ha. Thanks for listening.nasty_wolverine wrote:So i accidently started this and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b37taWNyGf0 together.EmperorIng wrote: https://soundcloud.com/ec2151/united-st ... n-atlantic
The theme of the militaristic peoples that now control the world.
Fit like a glove.
Awesome! Love the phatty lead! What are you using for the string sweep?jasoncslaughter wrote:I finally decided to upload some stuff to SoundCloud, so here it is:

I put up a track I just finished, called Uncanny, that is also known by its working title, "Jason is finally learning how to use Ableton." There are also a few of my classical compositions and a trombone section feature for big band that I played on a few years ago.
Hey so, this is a really amazing mix, wondering where the music is from? Do you have a tracklist? I've never heard any of this stuff before, and I try to listen to as much electronic/house/progressive as I can.GaijinPunch wrote:Here's a new mix which is a bit of a departure of my usual stuff.

Thanks! Believe it or not, the string sweep was one of the pack-ins with [my totally legal copy of] Ableton, with some adjustments of course. The name escapes me at the moment.jonny5 wrote:Awesome! Love the phatty lead! What are you using for the string sweep?
Will do! I haven't been writing much the past few years, but I'm forcing it back into my schedule, so there should be more coming!
Years ago. I thought it was decent, but I could never make anything with it that sounded good. I was too used to the interface of Fruity Loops Studio to make a real switch (I would eventually buy FL Studio).replayme wrote:Have you peeps ever tried Reaper, and if so, what do you think?
Somehow that makes me want to go back to Dwarf Fortress. Interesting stuff, particularly nice for a summer afternoon, but I hate you for thatgenecyst wrote:Hi guys, i know this kind of stuff is totally different from electronic productions that usually comes out in this thread, but i would like to share my latest drum impro session with two acoustic guitarist from Italian ensemble Squadra Omega.
They usually play some kind of kraut rock mixed with jazzy influences. This session instead is completely acoustic, recorded live in a single take and published "as it is".
If some of you appreciate stuff like john fahey, incredible string band and Sandy Bull productions i think you could find out something interesting to hear.
