So i accidently started this and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b37taWNyGf0 together.
Fit like a glove.
Having experimented myself, it does fit that science documentary vibe nicely, ha. Thanks for listening.

This is a FM-synth song resulting from listening to too much Camel and Pink Floyd (is that even such a thing?).

I finally decided to upload some stuff to SoundCloud, so here it is:

https://soundcloud.com/jasoncslaughter

I put up a track I just finished, called Uncanny, that is also known by its working title, "Jason is finally learning how to use Ableton." There are also a few of my classical compositions and a trombone section feature for big band that I played on a few years ago.

In the Halloween spirit, here's a track I composed inspired by Fabio Frizzi's iconic music in Lucio Fulci's Zombi 2/Zombie Flesh Eaters:

Death Comes Tonight - Italian Horror Tribute 1

Hopefully a few more to come. Consider it a 'taste of Italy'? Ha ha ha.

Hey so, this is a really amazing mix, wondering where the music is from? Do you have a tracklist? I've never heard any of this stuff before, and I try to listen to as much electronic/house/progressive as I can.

Thanks! Believe it or not, the string sweep was one of the pack-ins with [my totally legal copy of] Ableton, with some adjustments of course. The name escapes me at the moment.

Will do! I haven't been writing much the past few years, but I'm forcing it back into my schedule, so there should be more coming!

Posting about a friend's latest album being out. I made a remix that inspired him to make this release. I'm quite happy with how my remix turned out. The album is called Night Soil, and here's a soundcloud link to my remix.

Created a soundcloud account since I wanted to push my crappy reason stuff onto some friends. You are free to share the pain  And give pointers, ofc.
Just got a midi keyboard so making things is a bit easier. But just a bit....

A friend started using Reason 4 to create some amazing tunes some year back and I just wanted in on that bandwagon. It's....hard? :o

So, since I've seen you guys post mixes in here, I thought I'd share my weekly show called Chill Waves with you guys. Currently I am the only Dj on the radio, but it wasn't that way when I started out. Its mostly a semi-random brand of Chillout Electronic music, and from time to time includes video game music. This week's show includes stuff from Knytt Underground and a remix from the standalone DUX soundtrack.

Years ago. I thought it was decent, but I could never make anything with it that sounded good. I was too used to the interface of Fruity Loops Studio to make a real switch (I would eventually buy FL Studio).

Its price-point and essentially-free demo are significant benefits, though. If you arm yourself with a bevy of soundfonts and VSTs, it's a capable program.

Hi guys, i know this kind of stuff is totally different from electronic productions that usually comes out in this thread, but i would like to share my latest drum impro session with two acoustic guitarist from Italian ensemble Squadra Omega.
They usually play some kind of kraut rock mixed with jazzy influences. This session instead is completely acoustic, recorded live in a single take and published "as it is".
If some of you appreciate stuff like john fahey, incredible string band and Sandy Bull productions i think you could find out something interesting to hear.

My first single is now out. Not sure if it will be to everyone's liking here, but the album Ratio (Of Silver) is on will be released on the same label sometime in 2014. My favorite remixes are the Coppice Halifax and Zander One remixes. Currently though the link to the Coppice Halifax remix release goes nowhere, so if anyone is interested in that, I shall mention when it actually links to it, since there is an epic 32 minute remix included on it.

Some new downtempo/chill IDM I made the other day. I'm going to try challenging myself to trying to complete tunes when I sit down to make music, instead of what it has become lately which is 10mins and I'm bored. That won't work!
