Some more games.
Nearly finished my NMK collection now - Double Dealer. Have submitted fixes to MAME because straight away it was obvious the music speed was wrong.
Invaders Revenge - a conversion for Moon Base / Space Invaders Pt 2 type PCBs, adds colour. This one isn't actually tested and also comes with a black box on a ribbon cable which functions as the external sound effect unit. Colour version very rare, but a big gamble on working/not working - we shall see...
Jumping - it's bootleg Rainbow Islands, with Hitlers who shoot stars that then collapse into rainbows because the bootleggers didn't feel like redrawing much. Also red is awesome. Sold as working, chips needed reseating to get it booting and the volume control was faulty causing massive static noise.
Legionnaire - might not be dumped since it came from Korea. Another one from there where some helpful soul has partially sanded the edge connector. Never ever do this. Fun game, better than I remember.
Lethal Crash Race - PVP racing game, works very strangely - kinks in the road you have to steer around, then there are long curves where the game rotates the world around you instead.
Mad Ball V2 - Breakout type game with women. Interestingly you start with a gun as standard, impressive slowdown if you get lots of score items falling as a result of spamming guns and getting a ball split powerup.
Magix - Tetris with women. One of the few Tetris clones where I can actually clear more than a few levels. This one starts mixing it up quite a bit as time goes on, it's not bad really.
Perestroika Girls - yet another Gals Panic type game, either MAME is wrong or (more likely) my 8190 audio chips are wonky as it seems to play a few notes out of place which is a typical fault for them. Really need to track down a second one for comparison but things like this which used to be incredibly common throwaway PCBs are now getting hard to find.
Strahl - UPL collection nearing completion. Music on the PCB is significantly better than in MAME.
Trigon - gah - what a nightmare PCB. This was sold as working in Japanese auctions, it arrived failing to boot with multiple RAM failures, and loads of prior repair work inflicted upon it. It's repaired properly now, but I'll be looking to trade up for one in better shape in future I think. I also think the seller knew it had problems or had faked the picture, because they'd pulled the photos down by the time it arrived....
Ultra Balloon - Suna collection nearing completion, just need a Spark Man now.
WOW Fantasia - more Gals Panic, Comad collection nearing completion..
XX Mission - sold as working.... Yeah about that. Sprite colour fault but it took quite a lot of time to trace due to being a fractured solder join on a proper DIP style chip. Wasn't sure I was going to find it at one point.
