Hmm retro, dont like that word, in my little 34 year old mind, this is cutting edge, that just got peoples attention.Nana wrote:No more retro? Cyber grunge is where it's at now, huh?
Cool as the new track is, I don't think it sounds as distinctive as your earlier works. Maybe a bit of a more abrasive tone ala Les Rallizes Denudes or a ring mod would do you well. Here's a random example by Les Rallizes Denudes of what I was referring to with the tone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-Rr_ljh7yE. Yours definitely does have that cool space grunge vibe down, but is too conventional in terms of song structure IMO.
Very cool stuff as always, but I think the drums on your recent tracks are starting to sound too alike. Except for "Super Killer Bee." That track is AWESOME, haha.
Do you still have the links to all of the earlier stuff by the way? I would always click on a few of them whenever I'd enter this thread.
That music you posted is "hard work"

The new one is more like how i always wanted to sound BUT, along the way i basically programmed the thunderforce 2/4 sounds into my synth

With the main drums i been going for a bit of a Sepultura roots/bangra sort of thing... that realy keeps the party going

the heaviness of deftones, in those moments when you can just stand there and take it .
and the spacey-ness of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... mOo0#t=31s
Yeah @ alike, but ive had to put that to the back of my mind, i guess that just this style i developed over the last couple of months, originally planned to go for a bit of a psygnosis thing, so people know what there getting if they see my name.
Not that everyones into that .But i want to be quite distinctive.Have sort of limited equipment/imagination, but im almost certain ive taking my synth to places its never been

Super killer bee is out on xblig in the next two weeks, dunno if you have a 360 but im all over that

get it if you want to fight my imagination

Thanks for the encouragement as usual

Stuck the classic back in the first post.
