Cool as the new track is, I don't think it sounds as distinctive as your earlier works. Maybe a bit of a more abrasive tone ala Les Rallizes Denudes or a ring mod would do you well . Here's a random example by Les Rallizes Denudes of what I was referring to with the tone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-Rr_ljh7yE. Yours definitely does have that cool space grunge vibe down, but is too conventional in terms of song structure IMO.

Very cool stuff as always, but I think the drums on your recent tracks are starting to sound too alike. Except for "Super Killer Bee." That track is AWESOME, haha.

Do you still have the links to all of the earlier stuff by the way? I would always click on a few of them whenever I'd enter this thread.
Hmm retro, dont like that word, in my little 34 year old mind, this is cutting edge, that just got peoples attention.

That music you posted is "hard work" :| , that to over the deep end for me, im pretty trad. deep down.

The new one is more like how i always wanted to sound BUT, along the way i basically programmed the thunderforce 2/4 sounds into my synth :D made me almost completely give up on guitars. I had NO need for them. Started becoming a bit too dependent on the "crush depth heavy " guitar i programmed

With the main drums i been going for a bit of a Sepultura roots/bangra sort of thing... that realy keeps the party going :P ill try mix it up abit more with that constructive crit.
the heaviness of deftones, in those moments when you can just stand there and take it .
and the spacey-ness of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... mOo0#t=31s

Yeah @ alike, but ive had to put that to the back of my mind, i guess that just this style i developed over the last couple of months, originally planned to go for a bit of a psygnosis thing, so people know what there getting if they see my name.
Not that everyones into that .But i want to be quite distinctive.Have sort of limited equipment/imagination, but im almost certain ive taking my synth to places its never been :D

Super killer bee is out on xblig in the next two weeks, dunno if you have a 360 but im all over that :D i didnt program it , just sprites and some tunage. :D

get it if you want to fight my imagination ;)

I'm pretty hardcore aren't I.

If Developers Week ever happens with STGWeekly and I'm still set to be part of it everyone can hear what railslave's come up with - it's definitely great stuff! Getting music off a live Yamaha to fit in with my requirements of a complete replacement soundtrack is definitely not easy though, and that's discounting the times he forgets that the place a certain tune place is 10 seconds long and not a 3 minute space opera. :P

That Stage 2 music is definitely the bomb. I need to fix up Stage 2 some more, too. Add some Triangle Service inspiration near the end (after the extend area it's a dodgy mess currently).

Oh hell yeah. I have $4 left on XBL after putting $5 in for Chronoblast, so if it's in that range, I'm DEFINITELY checking it out. I can't see anything about it online though, know where I can learn some info about it first?

Please tell me I can get it for $4, because if not, then there's nothing stopping me from using that money on the hentai dungeon crawlers on XBLIG.
