Sorry to bump a Necro thread but with M$ doing away with charging for patches you think Cave could fix the 4:3 options on this game?

Even without the fee to worry about I doubt Cave wants to devote the time and effort needed to tweak most (if any at all) of its previous releases at this point.

I recently downloaded this game from Games on Demand. However, there was no patch! Was the patch not released in America or something?

I just checked and it's prompting me to download the patch as normal here when I load the game. I'm using a UK gamertag on a JPN console, although it shouldn't matter what region either are.

I'm pretty sure the latest patches are automatically downloaded along with the games themselves when buying/downloading GoD games.

^ This. In at least one game's case (Vanquish), I've heard of the preorder/bonus DLC being automatically downloaded and part of the GoD release (I guess they included it as part of the price), but this doesn't apply to any of Cave's releases as far as I'm aware.
