Hey guys, I just want to mention that I was the one that made them. I'll make up some more in the near future, but I'm trying to get my hand on some printable vinyl first for that. Previous ones were made with regular sticker paper laminated with packing tape. Very functional, but I could do better.

It will end up costing you the same, and it will work for sure
You could also buy a larger stepdown and get a US power strip off ebay if you plan on getting any US or JAP consoles in the future, then you can have it all hooked up at the same time. That's what I do
Mind you, my stepdown is only 100W so it won't run a PS3 or 360, but it's great for retro consoles.

Håber det hjælper
That is indeed not a stupid idea and a US power strip, never thought of that
So the BN100885 100W would be a good choice if i would like to add more consoles?
Just don't go over 100W total power consumption. The Framemeister probably uses around 10-15W. That leaves plenty left for most retro consoles. The Sega Saturn is 12W if I remember correctly.
Hey guys, is anyone using a cps2 with their framemeister? For unknown reasons, I get a super wavy image (mostly the borders of everything as well as the left and right sides of the overall image). Plus, there is the occasional overall screen "flash" which would seem to indicate a sync issue, however adjusting the sync level has no effect.
My other systems, including a cps3, snes mini, and genesis mk 2, do not exhibit this issue at all.
Each arcade board produces it's own RGB picture, so your CPS2 might have *way* too high video levels for the Mini - that would cause the flashes. Do you have potentiometers on your supergun ? Maxed out already ? You might want to add higher resistors and/or a bunch of capacitors to flaten out the voltage peaks.
Check if the SKEW setting affects the waviness and switch between NORMAL2 and STANDARD aspect ratio settings.

Some 1CHIP units have the vertical bar in the center and some don't. 1CHIP-03 units seem to be the rarest from what I can tell, and no one that I know who owns one has the vertical bar problem. Some 1CHIP-01 and 1CHIP-02 units have them; some don't, again this is anecdotal, just from what I've heard. It's possible that some 1CHIP-03 units have the problem as well, but there are so few people I know with them to test that out...
If you are happy with your 1CHIP and it doesn't have the vertical bar, forget about it and enjoy it. I don't think there will be any advantage to finding a 1CHIP-03 for you.

Could be that the 1.08 firmware is just a few quick fixes for the new revisions of the Framemeisters. It could also be that they have slightly different motherboard layouts and therefore needs a new firmware...?
Does it feature the HDMI Bypass function hinted earlier? If not then I think they will release 1.09 next on their site.

Was that ugly 1 dark line out of 4 when running on 2x mode only applicable to 240p before? I just tested my PS2 for the first time connected through D terminal and I got 2 dark lines out of 4
The ugly scanline still there when running 240p res though.
Works like a charm for consoles; my settop box however doesn't work any more. All I get are nonsensical refresh rates from the Extron interface and a "No signal"-message from the Framemeister.
Does anyone have a translated version of the manual including the Framemeister. Right now I have to try and guess what all the things does in the menu. For example, I switched of the auto_scale option off and my PS2 didn't flicker anymore. Looked great! So now I'm wondering what that means and alot of other settings.
The Auto Scaler function only has two presets, GAME and VIDEO. If you switch if off you can manually access the V and H_SCALER settings which allow you to fine tune the scanline engine. If you switch it off and don't change the manual settings, it just stays on the last selected preset numbers.

Thanks Fudoh, I tried everything you suggested to no avail. My supergun is a MAK Strike:
It has pots for the RGB. I cranked the brightness all the way down (quite dim) and it had no effect. I also swapped A boards to see if that was an issue - no change.
What do you think about the cable I'm using? Its got a "sync booster" circuit...maybe the sync is too high and changing the sync level on the Mini itself is not enough?
I "think" its wired correctly....but am uncertain of the ground.
Check out this one: http://playoffline.wordpress.com/cable/jpn21pinrgb/
My SCART has GND connected to 21 (Shield), 17, 13, 9, 5, 4.
I haven't tried it with a RGB scart yet so I can't promise that connection will work.
@jdubs: this would only work, if the the source RGB cable the GND connections in the right place. If you connect ALL GND pins (especially Pin 17 - video ground) to the existing ground, it should work with all sources.
Have been getting a strange display on the XRGB Mini when using my MD2 with the Raw Sync Scart cable for retro_console_accessories on eBay, basically there seem to be a lack of contrast in the picture and what seems to be artifacts on some cluster of pixels across the screen, and there seems to be banding/ghosting across the screen on options screens where the cursor hightlights an option, you can see ghosting of the cursor horizontal across the screen. This is the scart cable.....
