Hand written labels, GAL chip top left instead of PAL, game name sticker missing. There are documented instances of conversions supplied by Capcom, but they're not common. CPS1 converting has become quite common lately, I'm afraid the chances are near 100% that it's not legit.gbaplayer wrote:how to proof the seller that its a conversion? he still tells me its an original board. has someone screenshots of the original us 1941 pcb?
You should see how big a typical Sega Model 2 Virtual On PCB setup is, it certainly takes up some valuable real estate inside a candy cab indeed. And not to mention the full-sized Sega original VO control panel with the monster twin stick setup, quite something to behold/marvel at with it's solid construction (built to take some serious abuse and then some).chempop wrote:Virtua Fighter 3 came with my new cab. 1CCed it on my first goCame with all the paperwork, movestrips, even a nice blast city marquee.
Model 3 games are so crazy HUGE, WTF!

Wish I can get that one some day =) congrats!
It's actually a pretty awesome one to own, one of those instances where the ports really are lacking compared to the original. I sold my spare to gbaplayer and used that money (and more... it was very expensive) to buy a whole kit which is somewhere in the air between Japan and here.
Nice, it's one that I'm not going to be parting with either for a while. Still on the look out for English 2 and G but not sure they were ever made.gabe wrote:I just picked up an English Mr. Driller board... This is a minor milestone for me in that it's the first PCB in my collection that hasn't been dumped. It's not a text heavy game, but I'm a big fan of the series, so this has me stoked. If anyone is interested, I'm selling my JP region board over here.
There was indeed an English Mr. Driller 2. No clue on G though.cools wrote:Nice, it's one that I'm not going to be parting with either for a while. Still on the look out for English 2 and G but not sure they were ever made.
