I thought of this looking at a moth this morning. Moths are badass

Beetles are even more badass. Especially ones with gigantic gun turrets on their backs.Tar-Palantir wrote:Moths are badass

Above picture shows how I feel when I'm playing Galaga
How I feel when I'm playing Mushi on Ultra Mode

Spiders are animals too.Herr Schatten wrote:And the stage 2 midboss is a scorpion, which, if I'm not mistaken, is an arachnid, not an insect. Ah, well, at least it has lots of legs, so I think it qualifies. That said, I'd love to see a badass spider boss in Mushi 2.
DOWN TO THE SHOOTING BULLETS?!?!Zweihander wrote:Rest assured, every enemy in Mushihime-sama is almost identical to their real-life counterparts.
yeah, turns out the bullets are actually more "garegga style" IRLMinzoku wrote:DOWN TO THE SHOOTING BULLETS?!?!Zweihander wrote:Rest assured, every enemy in Mushihime-sama is almost identical to their real-life counterparts.![]()

early location testers dismissed them as being "invisible" tho which is why they now are humongus purple blobs instead.

In that case you should play Apidya on the AMIGA.Zweihander wrote:This comment (w/ images) WINS TEH INTARWEB.Thunder Force wrote:

Oh yeah, also: I used to be an insect-collecting nerd when I was in elementary school. Rest assured, every enemy in Mushihime-sama is almost identical to their real-life counterparts. From moths, to leaf insects, to water striders, to various jungle-dwelling jewel beetles, I recognized EVERY enemy from the game. (I freaked out on the last stage because my favorite critter always has been the praying mantis) Looking through the galleries was a blast; it was truly a flashback to my young days of collecting, admiring, and drawing insects.
So, to answer your question, Tar-Palantir... Every goddamn enemy is very closely based on a real critter.
Even the giant level-3 mega-bug with all the eyeballs? What the hell is that?Zweihander wrote: Rest assured, every enemy in Mushihime-sama is almost identical to their real-life counterparts.
