Why are these drones pissing everyone off? There's no such thing as privacy anymore. You can't protect what no longer exists.

I would disagree, although it's only a very small part of the population that manages to stay off the radar. That doesn't mean we can't be mad that we're moving further and further away from the possibility of getting any of it back though. As it stands now (or previously, I suppose), if you're crazy enough you can still run off into the woods and live like a 21st century Daniel Boone without the government being any the wiser.

That's called being homeless, and they camp out in cities, not forests. You'd get fined for trespassing in forests, anyway.

I think there's been a lot of attention paid to practical privacy issues of late; I don't think it's a lost cause.
