As a God-fearing, communist-hating, civic-minded American, I have nothing to fear from the government.

But do you have a duty to protect your fellow citizen from overreaching government?
I think there's been a lot of attention paid to practical privacy issues of late; I don't think it's a lost cause.
That's called being homeless, and they camp out in cities, not forests. You'd get fined for trespassing in forests, anyway.ncc wrote:I would disagree, although it's only a very small part of the population that manages to stay off the radar. That doesn't mean we can't be mad that we're moving further and further away from the possibility of getting any of it back though. As it stands now (or previously, I suppose), if you're crazy enough you can still run off into the woods and live like a 21st century Daniel Boone without the government being any the wiser.Lord Satori wrote:Why are these drones pissing everyone off? There's no such thing as privacy anymore. You can't protect what no longer exists.

Only if you get spotted. Which is kind of the issue here.Ed Oscuro wrote:You'd get fined for trespassing in forests, anyway.

Maybe having drones around won't be so bad. They can't seem to find Dorner anyway.HenAi wrote:Only if you get spotted. Which is kind of the issue here.Ed Oscuro wrote:You'd get fined for trespassing in forests, anyway.
