I've got a new kit that I've never bothered to open, but the poster was folded in there to save on shipping. I'll see if I can't dig it out and look.

Yes, came in new kits (afaik) bought by two reputable collectors on completely different sides of the world. B1 always says Kit to me (although I can't guarantee the exact size, it's 2nd hand info) and folded never says matsuri, hence my confusion. I've never seen it prior to recently.

Good stuff, many thanks.

Bought Deathsmiles on release and it had the cage poster (tampax version). I've only seen that one recently. Omake, then.

I've purchased two new kits.

Kit one:
Purchased from Fujita in 2009 and it came with the birdcage poster.

Kit two:
Purchased from what I assume is a group buy gone bad in 2011. The seller had 6 kits. Each one came with a folded version of the poster in question. The kits were described as NOS.

The poster I have is from the same seller, originally from one of those 6 kits as well.

Gonna throw out that it's omake/added value. In fact, I think this poster was designed quite some time after the game was out.

why folded, why in kits? Why B1?! Are they Cave produced?

This puzzles me.

I bought one of the last Fujita Deathsmiles kits (I think the very last one to be honest), rolled B1 birdcage poster came with it. That B2 poster in the pic definitely came out after, but there is nothing stopping distributors from "making their own kits" and putting them in to try and enhance sales (especially if the posters were not selling alone). In short, distributors put whatever the they wanted into kits, flyers from other games. Trying to document an authoratative list is impossible.

Especially if it's Fujita that has been known to get stacks of promo items from Cave. Was it definitely B1?

It is B1 size per http://www.nin-nin-game.com/1471-o.html. I believe it was offered on the cave shop. Never seem it in kits (until now?) as like the matsuri posters, it doesn't even say Cave on it.

Perfect! That link solves the riddle conclusively: it's not a stock kit item.

Thank you all for your help.

Just a small update: Found that Guwange's original A4 instruction sheet was printed in blue ink. Can someone confirm if the reprint was plain black on white? I recall that it was, but need clarification.

The piggy's head is screwed on? Are you sure? I don't want a decapitated piggy.

They are very different .
Galuda 2 one has a hole in the middle to insert the base of the promo disc spring, the Ketsui one has a small plastic hook fixed in the middle to attach the flyer baggie .

Not quite right. I wonder if anyone could find a legitimately similar/identical sucker. Could make a killing!

An alarmingly common practice. I was sold a kit with a G2 one in there as original. When I complained it turned out the poor chap was none the wiser, he'd also been duped by the previous owner.

What are these mate. I thought (apart from the PCB) my Espgaluda kit was done. Finding the 50 mobile flyers was tough enough. But there's these orange flyers too? How many came in the kit?

EDIT: Just checked my mobile flyers pack, and inside each of the mobile flyers (they fold like a booklet) is an orange flyer, so I'm good!

That said, I don't see a kitty on them, unless you count the tiny cat character on the tiny screen from the Uopoko mobile game screenshot.

"Mushihimesama Futari (Clean, no logos)" links to an image of the logoed kit version, not the clean one.

Yep, they're tucked inside. Often these flyers end up as singles with Ketsui kits - no idea why, they don't belong there.

Think there's a white cat on there somewhere, can't remember exactly.

Thanks cools, whups indeed it does. Do you have an image of the non-logoed?

If anyone wants to help fill the OP with images they might have and plug the blanks, that would be jawsome. ;)

So I have the right flyers! Phew. No white pusskin on any of mine, I'm sure. If I were a more vulgar type, I'd make a crude joke about you having 'pussy' on your mind Skykid. I am a vulgar type actually. But I also don't like the word pussy used in that context. It means cat or wimp, and that's that.
Skykid wrote: If anyone wants to help fill the OP with images they might have and plug the blanks, that would be jawsome. ;)
Cave STG had that ace thread about what exactly what each Cave kit contained. Could we build the OP here into something like that (I'll be embarrassing myself as a mod if we already have that!).

Of course, it seems Cave don't even quite know what goes in their kits when they assemble them.
