Raging, but can't stop playing.
This is true, but it gets fullspeed on pretty much any computer that can run Windows 98 or better comfortably. So it's still widely used.trap15 wrote:ZSNES is shit
Go play VF5FS or somethingKAI wrote:If these are the best fighting games of this generation, we are fucked.
XIII great? P4A Fun? Something really awful happened this saturday, and I missed it.Hagane wrote:KOF XIII is great. Persona is shallow but kind of fun. BlazBlue indeed sucks in all of its incarnations.

So, you played some people who have no idea about the game and decided KOF XIII is not good? What are exactly the reasons it's bad? Athena doesn't panty flash?KAI wrote:XIII great? P4A Fun? Something really awful happened this saturday, and I missed it.
Even SNES9x runs slow on my machine, if I enable transparencies. I found a better alternative than ZSNES though, SNESGT. It seems to emulate the sound better than ZSNESnull1024 wrote:This is true, but it gets fullspeed on pretty much any computer that can run Windows 98 or better comfortably. bsnes is the absolute best SNES emulation you can get, but it does need a machine with actual processing power [so, post 2008 machines for fullspeed].
Snes9x does have similar sysreqs as ZSNES [read: computer made after 2000], but ZSNES is more famous.
LOL. K' is top tier. That's why I tell you to play it against someone who knows, or watch some videos before jumping to conclusions. Clark is OK, but not great. A scrub killer though. Game is quite fast paced.KAI wrote:K' is useless, Clark is broken as fuck and that mechanics/physics/slow-paced action. KOF 2002UM is gold compared with that.
Maybe is just the first impression but so far I don't like XIII.
P4A looks decent but, a shotocan character without uppercut? why?!
and yet bsnes is still behind ZSNES when it comes to certain features and the roughness of the UI (pulling down a menu during gameplay leads to the currently buffered sound being repeated AW YEA what is this)trap15 wrote:ZSNES is shit. Use BSNES, or if you don't have a good enough computer for that, use SNES9x.

There's the Satakore version, which I can confirm has a non-sticky cover. Had my pick of prints and actually went with the budget release for that reason. Apparently some Satakores are pretty rare in their own right, but whatever... just wanted the game in a more standard format.TransatlanticFoe wrote:What's the deal with the cover of Bulk Slash? Every auction I've seen has said that it's stuck to the CD case and that that's somehow "normal". It looks amazing fun but I have issues with spending money on knackered stuff.
Its soundtrack is my favorite type of girly anime j-poppy rock. The only knock against it (apart from your ugly pre-rendered character sprite) is that gauntlet of a last level - then again, I'm not a "pro" at the game by any means, so I'm sure there are better ways of dealing with that stretch at the end! At the same time, it's one of those games that no one talks about, barely any videos up on youtube (was it more popular in Japan or on niconico?), never on a list of "Games to import."BIL wrote: Interesting to hear the original print is a fold-out manual too, Ing - wondered if it was just cost-cutting.
Bulk Slash does rock. On par with the PS1's Silent Bomber for simple, hyper-destructive 3D action with a killer premise and smooth controls. Soundtrack is awesome cheese too.
