Some of you apparently missed the note in the amazon.jp listing for this set which mentions the various changes made to the games, such as additional CG dewbacks added to the opening of stage 1 of every game and Hibachi shooting first.

As much as I'm curious to see these superplay DVDs, I already own most of these games and don't need multiple copies so I'll be passing on this set.

Well fingers crossed they are keeping their cards close to their chest because they're working on some new multiplayer STG, and yeah a modern CAVEd Twinkle Star Sprites would be amazing, plus the inclusion of the WiiU's touchpad would make such a game playable by the masses and allow them to concentrate on the puzzle / scoring aspect of the genre. And it needs to be more mainstream because us guys aren't enough to keep the online lobbies filled.

Either that or CAVE are just sitting around with their thumbs up their arses waiting to go under once SDOJ and the 360 are done with.

Anybody's take on TSS would be fantastic. I can't believe no other company has made a VS shooter. It's so good.

Cave just needs to release more details on what is going to be included. If this has some extras, like alternate cover art, remixed soundtracks, different booklets, and an exclusive game mode or two, it would start sounding like a better deal.

That said, my guess is that this will be a bare-bones compilation.

I love when the first part of the URL changes suddenly. Pity I came after the good parts were deleted by the mod.

There are a couple more. We had a thread about it.

Quality may vary.

I've never understood why people on the internet will so quickly insult you for not spending all your money in unwavering allegiance to a company or corporation.

It's no different than people who will insult you because you do spend money on something. They just like to pass judgement on things that are none of their fucking business.

Could someone help me buying this? If it gets sent to me i will make a video about what the contents exactly are... I have an european amazon account, but that doesn't help.

damn the yen is strong.... i remembered buying coins for my egret 2 for about 60 cents (EUR) for 100 yen but now it's like 1 EUR for 100 yen... what the fuck man...

Maybe rancor? I would order something from your shop too!

In the SDOJ interview I translated, one of the guys said they are still working on new STG title(s) for "hardcore" fans. Beyond that, I don't think anyone really knows anything about whats going on.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Like most people in confused as to who the specific target audience is, but given that it's likely to be sold in a comparatively very low print run, I don't think it'll have much of a problem selling.

I'm pretty tempted to sell my CAVE X360 collection and get this. I could even make a small profit. I bet there's going to be some huge, glaring problem with the box-set that makes this a bad idea, but I'm seriously mulling it over.

I can get one for you, but you realize it hasn't been released yet and there's no release date, right? I plan on getting one myself, and maybe a few extras.

Wait, is this exclusive to Amazon JPN? That would be weird. For sure Play-Asia or NCSX will stock this which will make it easy to get a hold of.

Play-Asia always has a (?) for other regions until they can personally test it. It would be very surprising for the region code to change for this release. You should probably just bite the bullet and buy a Japanese 360. Used ones on forums are affordable.

Why no Ketsui? Sorry, I don't have time to search around. Is it a case of a different publisher or something like that?

Yes, Ketsui and Daioujou Black Label X were ported and published by 5pb, not by Cave. That's why both are missing.

If you want the Ketsui port, I can recommend trying to find cheap deals at Yahoo Auctions Japan. You can use a site like JAUCE to ship them to your location.

Right now there's no DOJ port for sale, besides some posters and the PCB board. Ebay sells it on overprice. I was lucky enough to get both ports early before they got unreachable. ^^;
