Thanks for that!Adderall wrote:where should I look?Ed Oscuro wrote:Have another look at the thread.Adderall wrote:should play just fine.............. as hori.
I didn't see what you had posted before, and it seems to conflict with this. So, which are we supposed to believe? Playing the game "in tate, but not tated" might work fine as far as the physical controls go, but it sounds like you'll have to tate your head to write down your scores or look at the bombs counter. Or is that not what THE meant by his post? Of course, "vertizontal" means something else entirely from rotating some screen elements.THE wrote:Thanks, currently it plays only as tate. But it's possible to rotate controls. Which works surprisingly well!emphatic wrote:You guys are awesome. Great to see Rozyrg onboard with his lovely graphics as well. So this is playable as a vertizontal as well as in TATE? If so, will the screen have some sort of "bezel" on the sides or what?
Whether there will be a letterbox tate vert mode or not hasn't been decided yet. But the NEOGEO can't rotate sprites so it will be a little bit difficulty to pull off. We basically would need to program the game twice and need to rotate and scale all graphics.
Also lol at playing a vert in hori mode. I don't see that as likely to be intuitive.
