The version of Radirgy on these is the best technically. It is lacking the cool original modes found on the Gamecube and PS2 ports, however.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Thanks. Is it better than the Dreamcast version?

If memory serves both are pretty much straight arcade ports; I don't recall any major differences, though I'd imagine that someone more versed in slowdown lore could probably come up with something. One nice thing about the collection versus the DC editions is that Chaos Field and Karous don't suffer from the high-score save bug on the Wii, though Radirgy never had that problem for whatever reason.

Would the import of Ultimate Shooting Collection 2 be the most-preferred Milestone item to get, though? That has the extra updates to Radirgy, if I am not mistaken. As well as Illvelo, which every time i look at a video of the game in action, it confuses the fuck out of me.

Milestone Collection 2 does add Illvelo and Radirgy Noa (a sequel, not an update) to the mix, though as with the first three games they are missing some of the extras included with other stand-alone ports. You also need an import-capable Wii to run it, though soft-modding the system isn't very hard: for diehards the US version also allows you to see the story/dialogue in English, though I doubt that's of much concern to most players.

Yea. My Wii is soft modded.

But I'm weird and like getting stand alones when possible. So I have the stand alone version of Illvelo and will be getting the stand alone version of Radirgy Noa to replace Radirgy Noa MASSIVE (sold my J360 in favor of a US one). So next up is to decide whether to get DC versions of Radirgy or the Wii collection for much less.

Radirgy and Karous's DC ports play exactly like the Naomi arcade games, but this means some slowdown. Depends on whether you consider that a good or bad thing in your shooter ports.
