I Am rotating my plasma, yeah. I have a rotating stand for it. I'm also going to probably buy a rotating wall mout for my smaller LCD TV.

I am not aware of any models that this would be bad for, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Same here. Stage 3 in Mushi is actually one of my least favorite levels in a Cave game. I don't know why I dislike it either...

Having that said, I had a ton of fun with 1.5. It totally made my purchase worthwhile. I think they should have included 1.5 in the standard edition (with better sound quality!) and made the arrange mode exclusive to the limited edition.

So everyone's favourite beastly survival player lionmanggg is the first to upload an Ultra Max clear.

Fourth place on the leaderboards. He dies in Stage 3 and still manages to finish with a life in stock

I have been late to the game. Too busy with life and forgot to keep up with the SHMUPS scene. Just found out about this game being released on XBOX 360 this morning and immediately ordered a copy from YesAsia. I was wondering if the DLC code is inside the game box or outside. I am hoping they still have one of the game from the first shipment with a DLC code in it.

Copies containing the DLC code are indicated by a pink round sticker on the plastic wrap, but the code itself is on a card inside the game case.

Silly question, but do you have a Japanese 360?

This game is pretty awesome. I think I'll be playing this and DOJ quite a bit in the coming weeks. Does anyone have the feeling that this game is faster than Futari? The bullet speed seems way more intense.

Of course I do, with a Japanese account set up as well. I have used DLC codes before, with muchi muchi pork and ketsui. Anyway, Yesasia has already shipped it. I will find out if I have the DLC code or not in a week or two. I hope I don't have to waste 10 or 15 dollars on ebay just to get the code.

Honestly, if you receive the code, I will be shocked.

Kinda sad seeing as how 1.5 is the reason most people buy the port.

If you don't, let me know - I've got several valid code sheets as well as several copies of the game with codes (LE and regular editions) still for sale.

Especially since the MAME emulation is shit and unsupported and on infinite hiatus.

If finisherr doesn't have a j360, than its hard to blame him for not wanting to put up $300 to play the one game, especially considering how little reason there is to still get a j360.

yeah i know the feeling... I always find 1000 arguments not to buy anything too...and keep on fucking pirating everything... and then later I complain about why they are not making any new games...or even better complain about the quality of the mame hacks...

For the record, I buy shooters when they're on an American platform. I've got Futari, Futari Black Label, Raiden Fighters Aces, Raiden IV and Raiden III. I think it's a bit ridiculous if a video game company, or coterie of players, expects me to buy a japanese console to play their games. Sure, it's great that people buy J360s to play these games. Hell, if there weren't any games available for American consoles, I'd probably buy a J360. It is asking a little much for me to buy one just to play one or two games though, as if I wouldn't be supporting the shooting scene if I didn't.

Basically, calm down and

They don't expect you to buy anything. If they did they'd release them here to begin with.

I wonder if releasing on XBLA in America reduces overhead/still gives them somewhat of a profit/enough incentive.

Gimme the disk/hard copy any day. I'll shell out for the console, but never for DLCrap 8)

The beauty of LCD's at least is that you can flip them all you like, switched on or off, it wont hurt them. I have mine on a 360o rotating bracket that I bought at a chain store for about AU$30.00 :D

So do we know if all copies of Mushihime out there have the 1st print DLC? I wanna buy it from YesAsia, but it's tough to pull the trigger without knowing if I'm gonna get the whole package...

No, all copies do not contain the DLC. I haven't seen any at retail lately that do. I'd say that if they don't explicitly mention it, it most likely doesn't include the code since that's a major selling point.

edit: The DLC code was only for pre-orders, but a lot of retailers had them in stock for a bit.

Just want to let everyone know that if they still want this game with the DLC, then Yesasia still has it. I received the game after ordering it 2.5 weeks ago. Got the copy with the pink sticker outside and a DLC card inside.
