It's MVS. Even if the cheapo AES version were ready, there's no way to sell that shit at a profit under $200. Good lord, the shipping alone is like the entire cost of a Battlekid cart. You've all seen that AVGN scene where he dumps a Neo cart on his bathroom scale and breaks the thing.
I'll agree that I think it's strictly inferior to versions of these games that exist on LCD portables, by virtue of being slower. But that doesn't matter: this guy obviously really loves Neo Geo and really loves these types of games so he made it for himself. Hardcore enthusiasts would want it for their parlor in their arcade, and that number is under a thousand. Sales of around 2 to 3 hundred over 20 years is what I'd expect to see move.
It's so niche, that, if anything, the price they're asking is
too cheap.
Watch some of that hot Farm Simulator action. Tell me that's some exciting shit.* Or that these guys are weirdos for loving this shit. Compared to the weird ass shit we're into?
Sure, if I wanted to fill out the Neo's library, I'd make an arcade style jRPG. But I made a forum post instead. It is a bitchy post. Because I had to watch a yootoob video to figure out what the four games included in this game were. Instead of the one sentence it would have taken them to tell me on their official site. It may just be me, but it helps a lot if you call Blackjack just Blackjack and Poker Poker.
* It's no
Lake Dredge Appraisal, that's for sure.
PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.
