The voting process is simple: if you're a captain, you can send me the vote using a Private Message. If you aren't a captain, do not send me a vote.
The choices for this week are:
EspGaluda
Ketsui
DDP DOJ
The ballot is secret. Because I'm a little late with this for personal reasons, you have until the actual start of the week to send me your votes (4AM GMT of the 13th).

DOJ White label? Isn't it kinda broken in MAME? At least my version breaks save states every time. Anyways if DOJ white label wins and we're still seeing 5-10 people 2-alling it, I'm going be slightly suspicious of the honesty of the tournament (and the top players). :p

Savestates work fine for any of those games in MAME (they are the same engine), but do expect people to 2-ALL either DOJ or Ketsui. The difficulty of DOJ is somewhat overstated, though WL is still very frustrating given its extend system.

This, so much. It's not even that the scoring systems are awful on their own, they are just completely awful for a 1-week scoring competition where the handful of people who seriously play the game outside of STGT have such a significant advantage that no one else might as well play.

STGT seems to be partly about getting people to try out games they might not have seriously scored in before, and I agree EspGaluda is probably the newbie friendliest for a one week competition (especially considering how many points are in the other games' loops, the difficulty getting there, etc).
I might be biased though cause it'd also give me an excuse to try and hit 40 mil <3
