Somewhat off-topic, but... I've just never understood how people prefer having two screens with both not facing them straight.

They're only slightly angled -- I haven't got anything to measure it with, but I'd guess it's only around 10-15°

I mean it in the sense that you always have to have your head turned to do anything with that kind of setup, so neck muscles never have a chance to relax. At my workplace I have two 24" displays (also Dell, btw), one is in front of me, and one is perma-tate'd standing slightly to the side. Everything that needs my direct attention is always on the front one, the other is for everything else.

I usually keep my monitors at an angle as well. It's easier for me, as I pan my eyes before I move my neck.

Hmm I haven't had any problems. I had a different setup at my last job, similar to yours where one monitor was directly in front and the other was to the left, and I prefer having both in my direct field of vision. I don't to turn my head at all really, I can just shift my eyes from one to the other. They're neither too large nor very far away to need any head turning.

Just obtained a 29" Phillips euroline RGB CRT for less than $2 USD. Will be used as my test rig monitor.

Had enough of trinitrons for the time being, so the overal picture is a refreshing change.

Beautiful adjustable wall mount right next to my drafting table. I can pull it outwards and to the sides over a foot and angle it any which way I want. I'm in love.



And of course I had to wall mount my HDTV too. I got a nice VGA to HDMI converter box to run my laptop to it.

Left cabinet = 24kHz - Right cabinet = 15kHz.

How do the 360 ports look in 24kHz? If I am not mistaken, I think I can set my monitor to 24kHz as well. Are you using any kind of downscaler?

First is in my living room, Sony PVM used as a dedicated Tate for my Japanese Saturn. Second is my tiny bedroom, I was standing on my bed with my back to the wall when I took it. You can't see the consoles but there's a PS3, Wii, PSX, PS2, and 360 in the stand the TV is on. This house is tiny and I'm looking forward to moving to the new apartment next month, my room will be more than twice as big.

It's time for the poor/lazy-person's makeshift gaming setup, where dining room chairs are seats and piano benches and Xbox 360 package boxes act as a desk for laptops.




My computer. I don't like the desk, it's too small. I want two more monitors because I find it much more efficient to work with. Yeah, that's the Xbox 360 on the right.

The monitor swivels, but I've yet to try it. Supposedly H-IPS is good in terms of tating. Can't forget my trusty VSHG either.

Gaming setup:



I say setup but it's just a Core Grafx II with a Turbo EverDrive plugged into a 32" Sharp Aquos via composite.

The PCE will be modded for RGB and a scaler will be bought eventually. Although it may move to my desk setup making the TV redundant.
