Post your gaming setups here

Not sure if this has been done before but I thought it'd be nice, I'm sure some of you have some awesome setups :)
I'll post my humble setup later when I can get some pics.

Old pics but not alot is different. I have 3 PS3's and 3 cabinets. I also have a lot of random retro machines.

Lol, no wonder you hate it so much. I can't find anything to play on just one!

^ Where all the scoring magic happens.

A neat and uncluttered setup there. Makes me feel like I need a bigger flat.

Also: do quite like that Muramasa figure... and the guitar. :o

Pick and choose.

I got the black shelves with silver postings to match the 60gb PS3's.

PC:

Black Alienware M17x R3 Notebook
- Intel Q2630 Quad core @ 2.0 GHz CPU
- AMD HD 6970M GPU
- 4GB 1333 MHz RAM (Will upgrade to 8GB 1600 MHz when a good sale comes along)
- 96 GB Kingston V+ SSD
- 320 GB 7200 RPM HDD
- 17" FHD 1080p LCD (high quality TN panel)
- USB Saturn Mark 2 Controller.

Console:

- 20" Flatscreen CRT (Goodwill find, haha).
- US Saturn w/ Region Unlock Cart.
- Saturn Mark 2 Controller.

Will probably invest in an S-Video cable and/or a budget SCART to HDMI scaler chain for my Saturn. Actually, I should really get at least the S-Video cable, it's only 15 bucks and much better =/...

JPN TV Show called "Fighting Girl". TV Japan on Time Warner Cable doesn't show enough dramas, so the ol' lady buys these Thai bootlegs that come in those nice flip out boxes. She has quite a collection of tear jerkers and comedies. The one she watches over and over is called "Hero" cuz Kimutaku is so fine in it. lol

The one I thought was really cool was GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka). Showed a lot of scenes from 90s japanese game centers.

First three pix are all in my game room (pretty crowded in there!), my current gen setup is in my basement living room.

My cab (with the best chair EVER thanks to brendz!):

Image

My gaming PC setup (with Saturn USB pad, trackball, 5.1 sound, and a upper midrange home built system):

Image

My old-school setup (27" JVC I'Art, NES, SNES, N64, CDX, TG16, SMS, Saturn, DC, GC, Xbox, PS2 - hidden, Genesis 2, 3 switchboxes - Component, Composite and S-Video and a leather wingback La-Z-Boy). I am about to swap this TV for a 34" Toshiba Widescreen HD CRT tomorrow:

Image

My current-gen setup (40" Samsung, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3D0, PC Engine Duo w/RGB mod and HDMI hooked up, SNES, Genesis 3, PS2 fat - hidden, 1 multi-switchbox, 1 HDMI switchbox, all 100% wireless controllers):

<@scootnet> if you were a real gamer, you could jerk it to Super Metroid box art

My current setup. Less is more? It's a pretty simple setup :D

Left: XBOX 360 s + Philips 26" Full HD LCD + HRAP VX-SA (Sanwa JLF+OctoGate and Seimitsu Buttons)
Middle: HP HDX 16 (workstation and emustation)
Right: Sega New Astro City

Change the channel on the TV and move the HRAP usb and I got MAME on the LCD.

The wide desk is from Ikea and has 2 drawers.

Wish list:
Neo-Flex stand for the LCD for easy rotating.

Your expensive, elaborate setups make me feel like you're holding some girlie casual slumber parties; they lack true grit!

Fuck yeah, that's a computer desk. It has a computer and a desk, pretty much nothing else!

See that twenty year old stereo up there? That's where the sound comes from!

Badass! That's what I'm looking for here! Bonus points for the SNES pad.

Not having any support for wrists will inevitably leave you with carpal tunnel at some point, though. I already feel the symptoms in my right hand after spending a couple years without that aspect thought through.
