A little humor never hurt anyone. Besides, when you boot up DOJBL you can choose Old Ver or New Ver. Old version is original DOJ, so it would be redundant to include it separately.
When you boot up Galuda II Black Label you can choose Galuda II, therefore anyone voting for Galuda II should actually be voting for Black Label.
Oh geez, we are going to argue semantics?
When you plug in your CAVE/AMI Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou Black Label PCB into your New Astro City or Egret II arcade cab after properly checking the 3V Varta battery for the absence of corrosion and setting the 5V rail for proper voltage, you will be greeted by a selection screen. At this point, you are given the option of choosing Version A (Old) or Version B (New). It is best to have your top hat already in place and your cigar already lit because if you do not act quickly you may miss this step. Once you have made your selection, you will be greeted by one of the finest arcade shooting games ever crafted. A novice or casual shmup fan may first be taken aback by the beatifully crafted, albeit prerendered, graphics and art design by none other than Joker Jun of such fame as Dogyuun, Batsugun, Air Gallet, and Esprade. Perhaps a novice might also be tempted to focus their attention and appreciation on the musical score done by the master of shmup soundtracks himself, Manabu Namiki. Of course, since you have a top hat, you are no doubt a connoisseur and recognize the real quality of Dai-Ou-Jou is the finely-tuned game mechanics put into place by CAVE co-founder and main programmer Tsuneki Ikeda.
As far as the ill-conceived analogy attempt of the console exclusive Espgaluda II Black Label, let me remind you that it is NOT an arcade game. The console port of Espgaluda II included with the Espgaluda II Black Label Xbox 360 game is well done within the limits of the Xbox 360 hardware, however it is still a port running on entirely different architecture and therefore has subtle differences. You simply cannot wear your top hat while playing because of the different slowdown and modified/upscaled graphics as compared to the original arcade CAVE CV1000 PCB. Whether or not you would consider a console port that includes additional arrange modes to be superior to the original arcade release of Espgaluda II is an entirely different question that is best left for the 10th Annual Top Shmups of All Time voting thread.
However, the Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou Black Label PCB is an arcade release that includes the original DOJ version as well as the rebalanced DOJ new version. Let me reiterate that: DOJ Black Label consists of the original DOJ version as well as the rebalanced revision. There is no such thing as DOJ white label, only the original Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou PCB.
