Again, did you research preputioplasty? It's a surgical procedure that can be used to treat phimosis without removing any of the foreskin, even severe cases (it gets shortened a bit but, not much). Did your doctor tell you about this or doing a dorsal slit as possible treatment options, or did he basically just go "you've got a tight foreskin, only cure is circ"? To be honest, my visit to the doctor was two months ago, back then I knew nothing about circumcisions or its consequences. The way it was explained to me, I thought it was a simple procedure and I shouldn't be worried about it. Only now I'm realizing there are alternatives and circ should only be a last-resort thing.
