Some of the mods feel like cheating to me. So far I'm only using the official HR texture pack and the Fixed Followers Lite.
The Mike Tyson vid had me cracking up. I didn't expect him to come out a winner against the giant- I deal with them Nuge style (fire damage bows are awesome), with maybe a Fus-ro-dah if they get too close. Frost trolls used to own me at Labyrinthian until I got dual-casting Destruction capability. DC firebolt on these guys is the shit. Now I just basically Hadoken them to death.
I've got 130-ish hours into it with a Lv 44 Nord, with a Sneak skill in the high 80s. I originally intended for my character to be a Battlemage type, but this seems to be going more toward Assassin now. I use heavy armor mostly, but have the muffled movement perk for that. So far I've finished the College of Winterhold and Companions quest lines, and am well into the main and Thieves Guild ones.
Shame there isn't some kind of search box for your potions and other items. There will be times when you want a healing potion and it would be nice to type "HEAL" and get a filtered list showing your healing potions. I like how you can map favorites to the number keys to call them up immediately similar to Heretic/Hexen.
The value for money is definitely good. Instead of a cost per hour of $7-10+ it's more like 30-50 cents an hour. You may see it all in 8 hours with some FPS like Call of Duty, but in Skyrim 8 hours is just the beginning.
After the Thieves' Guild questline is over, I may do the Civil War one for the Imperial side.
One time I got trapped in a corner by a damn pot and had to reload. It was in some burial place where you find lots of Draugr. Pots are evil.
And here someone gets KILLED by a pot, in an inn with no hostile NPCs. Actually it's a kettle but anyway... Told ya.
Kinect? KIN NOT.
