I was thinking of this thread when I ran across this SF Gate article. It's one of those "click through the picture" deals but has some interesting takes on who shouldn't have won Oscars, i.e. James Cagney's role in White Heat lost out to Broderick Crawford, etc. They also have a "best picture" version.

I watched a local production of this last year, and I imagine the film is that, but with Marlon Brando, which doesn't really do anything for me despite his presence. Vaguely interested in looking up Sayonara again, or seeing Mutiny on the Bounty, though.
