PS3 PS2 HD classics I bought new. I've probably bought 2 or 3 others new as well. So about 6 titles.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

The 360 is actually the first domestic console I've bought in a long while (almost always imported before). I only ever buy shmups on day of release so those are the only games I've paid full price for. Everything else I can easily wait six months and pick up cheaper. Oh, actually I did pay full price for KOFXIII too - couldn't resist that one especially with the soundtrack.

I just remembered buying some releases for my SEGA MEGADRIVE new in store back in the early 90's.

Truxton
Sonic The Hedgehog
Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Strider

But that's it.

This Gen:
JP X360: 15/17
US X360: 49/84
PS3: 9/12
Wii: 8/16

Last gen:
Xbox: 5/68
PS2 13/63
GC: 8/27

To the best of my memory these are the counts for games I bought new and paid full price for. Huge change between generations, but I think that's mostly due to the fact that I was in college for most of the last gen and working for all of this one. That said, more than half of my last generation collection was purchased used AND after 2005. The used games I bought this gen were mostly purchased used because they were out of print and i didn't buy them new because I either didn't have the cash or didn't know about them (ex. EDF 2017).

This is my concern with trying to kill used sales. It hurts collectors long after it's had any possible effect on the publisher and that's just not fair. Digital ice age can eat a dick.

Fun Fact: The non-full price, but still sealed JP 360 games were TGM ACE and DDP DOJ.

I usually get used games in the $5-10 range, always complete and in good condition. My most expensive acquisition was $25. Paying full release price on a game? It puzzles me that anyone does that... I did, back in the MD&SNES age, but I know how to get better deals nowadays.

As far as the current and previous gen goes: 2
Those were Halo 2 and Doom 3.
Everything else has either been from eBay or was a EB Games/Gamestop used copy.

I think I got Halo: Anniversary on launch, but most of the other games have always been at least a week and they've already reduced the prices somewhat by then.

Ever since I started earning money myself, none. Before that, my parents bought me a few SNES games at supposedly full price, but times were wild back then, and people could charge basically anything they wanted for their wares.

I usually wait for a big price drop before picking up any current gen game. That is with the exception of FIFA. I gotta get my FIFA on DAY 1!!

360 = 10
PS3 = 1
Wii = 3

All other ones were either purchased new at a discount, Japanese imports, or bought used. I've regretted most of those full price domestic purchases, but not because the games were "bad", but because they weren't good enough in my eyes to justify their initial cost. I don't buy domestic games day 1 anymore, unless they are released at a budget price or include $15~$20 gift cards.
