I scooped a Raiden 2 pcb on the cheap.
Purple Lazer all day long.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
If the ribbon cables get loose, it's a cinch to reseat them properly so that the PCB works 100% from the get-go. It's commonplace to see such dual layered interfaces on the older Jamma PCBs from the mid-1980s (1986-1987). Even the USA region Taito/Toaplan Alcon (aka Slap Fight) PCB is known to use Oki produced ribbon cables in it's setup.Strider77 wrote:be careful with those ribbon cables/sockets. They love to go bad....

I dig the games art style and music , it is kinda strange that the music changes every time you get a newspadgy wrote:Nice one AKRATEN. I'd be interested to hear you feedback on this one. I've often been tempted to pick up the PCB myself.

I truly admire your dedication to finding and acquiring new pcb's, it is a superb thing to watch.
It's called このeたこ (Ko no e Tako). I made a crappy video of it a while backStefan_L wrote:Romboard for Namco System 10... i dont know the name but it is made by Mitchell (puzzle game with octopus).
Holy sag!!!Stefan_L wrote:And "Mighty Guy" and "Appoooh".
This is happening to mine as well and I have been told that you need to reflow the board to fix this - could br cracked solder or just old solder that's not making contact anymore. It's pretty cheap to have done and there are a lot of PCB guys in the US that do it, I've just been too lazy to send it out.emphatic wrote:My Twin Cobra has some kind of graphical glitch that only affects the sprites. :/ I don't think it's ribbon related though, as touching the roms or lightly patting them will fix the glitch. Kind of annoying though, especially during boss fights.
Fixed that for you.TonK wrote:I got a Tama kit. It's an amazing puzzler.
I'm gonna need to spend more time with it.jonny5 wrote:Fixed that for you.TonK wrote:I got a Tama kit. It's an amazing puzzler.![]()
I could hardly believe Brendz agreed to trade it. Enjoy it!

Now, it's super cool and all, but the seller (on eBay of course, where else do you find fucking scammers like this) advertised it as an MV1C, here's the link:

So, do I bitch and complain, or (as I'm leaning towards) do I keep my mouth shut because the MV1F is more desirable?
Man, I need Nemo for my kid. Playing it emulated in a cabinet currently...lovecraft wrote:I first post in the wrong thread, so here it is in the right place.
This is my newest arcade purchase, Nemo (1990), nice Capcom gem running on CPS1
