Mushihime-sama Futari Black Label PCB, graphical issues
I recently bought a MFBL kit from HE and after giving it a good play through I discovered what looks to be some type of possible glitch or sprite corruption during the first boss. If your character ventures too close to the left side of the screen then the very edge will distort to various shades of blue and green. HE said they were going to contact cave to see about getting it repaired... now they are coming back to me saying another customer has the same issue and this might be normal. Can anyone confirm? The version I have is not the international version if that matters. A video can be found here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTCE_ixA ... eok8CTTQJb
I appreciate any help.

Measure your +5v
Re: Mushihime-sama Futari Black Label PCB, graphical issues
Mine does it too - dependant on how many bullets and where they are in relation to you and the left side of the screen - timing issue in the hardware/code itself, I'd ignore it. Mine does purple/blue mostly.

Thanks for the confirmation!
As far as measuring the +5, I can't do that at the moment as I don't have a voltmeter. I took the board out of the cab and put it back in the box until I could get this figured out. I'll grab a voltmeter this weekend but so far it looks to be a confirmed issue.
Thanks again!

All SH-3 boards tend to produce some stange things in this area of the screen, it goes from a darker colors band to a few artifacts depending of the game.
Then it also depends of what monitor the game is running on. With my Nanao MS9 I tend to have darker colors noticeable
on brighter backgrounds and a strange thin line alternatively missing on the score while playing Deathsmiles.
It's a common issue, I just adjust the screen size and position to make it look fine

@ rtw, I don't have any artifacts on the main cave logo during start up. I did notice something though. As I have been playing the gaming and amping up the difficulty, there are no artifacts during the boss fight, no issues at all in manic and god mode, just original.
@ LARGE KRO, As far as that deathsmiles bar goes, I know what your talking about. Adjust the crosshatch in the test menu. Lower your overall screen size and then lower the cross hatch just a bit, that should give you the full view of the score. I didn't figure that out until I bought the PCB a second time.

Futari 1.5 has corruption on the very far left during the first boss also, when the screen shakes.

Sure, I will try that. I must admit I did not go too far in the test menus. Once I got the game options set it seems Ok for me.
I remember Ibara has extended configuration options in the menu, giving you access to the brightness and contrast settings of the game but I did not even notice that cross hatch settings in the other games. Thanks a lot Redfield !
