Dear reader Kim Jong Il is no more.

Post by Siren2011 »

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/north-kor ... l-has-died

I don't know why, but this saddens me. Probably because I view him in the way he was portrayed in Team America World Police, which I realize is inaccurate. Rest in peace, I guess. You crazy evil bastard, you. If I'M a little stunned, then I suspect North Koreans are going to be balling harder over him than they did over his father...

But wait, what do you guys think will happen to the country as a whole after this?

And that is a pussy way to die. "Died of fatigue." PPPfffftttt. I was expecting when I read the headline for him to have gone out guns blazing as American spies infiltrated his home. :P

EDIT: A friend has informed me that the "fatigue" thing is probably false reporting. They probably covered the real cause of death up for some stupid, communist reason. According to him, of course.

Good riddance. One of the greatest and purest pieces of shit to have ever lived. May have to find Jesus just so I can sincerely imagine him roasting in hell. I liked this bit from the associated press:

North Korean legend has it that Kim was born on Mount Paekdu, one of Korea's most cherished sites, in 1942, a birth heralded in the heavens by a pair of rainbows and a brilliant new star.
Soviet records, however, indicate he was born in Siberia, in 1941.
The freaks are rising through the floor.

First, Christopher Hitchens. Then, it was Vaclav Havel. Now it is Kim Jong-Il. The rule of three is complete. It happens in threes, it happens in threes 8)

There would be quite a bit more rejoicing, if it wasn't pretty much guaranteed his sons are going to keep the shit going over there.

Kim Jong-Il is now in the big North Korea in the sky (as Hitchens would've said) 8)

It's unsettling how cancer can turn someone from this

into someone like this, in a matter of, like what, one year?

I don't think it was a year. NK is in the news here far more than the west... Japanese media pointed out his ailing health ages ago (but he eventually did put some of the weight back on).

HOWEVER, it will totally fuck you up but the procedures usually get to you first.

Bin Laden, Ghaddafi, Steve Jobs and now Kim Jong Il. It has been a tough year for evil.

The thing I don't get is how, when I asked my ex-host father in Kyoto (very funny guy, liked Evangelion and games but was normal in appearance) what he thought of Kim Jong Il, he responded "I like him. Great man." Needless to say I was stunned. Could this have been a typical passive Japanese lie to avoid conflict? So I probed him/asked again. He said, "Yes, I berieve he make good fortune for Korean people." And I was under the impression that the Japanese and NK are sworn enemies. Maybe he was just a nut. IDK.

I have another story about passive aggressive Japanese behavior, but that's a topic for another thread.

So will one of his sons actually replace him as "General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea", or will he be declared "Eternal General Secretary"?

Curious how the NK media reported this to its own people. No way of finding out yet, of course.

Wonder what will happen to his legendary AV equipment/film reel collection?

Wow, those christmas trees the South Koreans put up on the border were way more effective than I expected, no wonder NK was so pissed off about them.
