Got the game this week and have played through arcade mode once and spent the rest of the time in training mode. This is my introduction to vs games and so far I find it pretty awesome. I like the fact that the combo'ing isn't as strict as in Super Street Fighter IV AE and when you can pull crazy shit off on an beginner/intermediate level it makes the game a lot of fun.
I've been going through the different characters to try and find ones that work well for me. So far I've settled on Hawkeye, Nemesis and Sentinel. I see a lot of people play Wesker and I considered to use him as my 3rd but I cant seem to do anything with him? combo into launcher, air combo to knockdown. Then I can do that pistol shot to make them bounce but none of his supers can hit that bounce? What's a good way to continue the combo?

Cancel weskers gun into a teamsuper. Even if you have 1 level it'll activate his normal super. Or cancel into an x-factor and do something from there.
I hate this game btw lol. To me xfactor is the worst gameplay mechanic in any fighter this gen. But I'll admit that this game is really easy to get into, and generally just a fun party game with friends.

Espgaluda III needs to happen.

if anyone wants to get they ass tore up in this game by haggar firebrand and shuma, then bring it! xbla is in sig. really hoping that finally put gene (godhand) 9 months from now when capcom gives birth to the next upgrade to this game. sumvc3ae or whatev.
wesker is crutch btw guys. i'll gladly hobble around without him. i played him in vanilla because i liked his character, but after these ridiculous buffs i can't bring myself to play him. i refuse to play top tier, makes shit too easy.

Spent some time on mission mode yesterday tried out the different characters. Then spent about five minutes in training mode before I decided to take the plunge and go online. Tried 3 ranked matches and got my ass handed to me. Had Hawkeye on point with nemesis second and sentinel last. I found that Hawkeyes d.M was excellent to get in from midscreen and into S. Then do an aircombo and finish it off with the super where he shoots an arrow with the little dude on it. Worked perfectly in training mode for about 600k. Didn't work online right away as that super takes 3 bars
And I dropped combos in the air like there was no tomorrow...
.... back to the lab.
I think I will put Hawkeye last and use his assist to get in. And when Im down to my last character I bet he will do some real damage with that combo + x-factor. Nemesis is ok on point so I think I will use him like that and sentinel second. But with hawkeyes assist I might drop sentinel, put Nemesis second and start with a fast character that does some good meterless damage. Any suggestions?

The free "Heroes and Heralds" DLC is apparently out today - I looked around on XBL under UMvC3 and didn't see it...am I looking in the wrong place?
EDIT: Seems I was off base, as it's coming in patch form - will grab the disc and give it a go.

Yeah I'm curious to check this out too. Went thru the cards last night on SRK, some of them seem to have pretty crazy abilities. Check out Multiple Man.BulletMagnet wrote:The free "Heroes and Heralds" DLC is apparently out today - I looked around on XBL under UMvC3 and didn't see it...am I looking in the wrong place?

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of insane glitches Desk/error0001 manage to coax out of that mode >_>
