Scart to component(YUV) Converter Problem

Post by slai50 »

has anyone tried to use the CVS287 scart to component adapter on a 27 inch sony wega kv-fs120 CRT TV? I tried connecting a US sega saturn and a pc engine duo-r and can hardly get a picture. When I tried the saturn, i get an extremely dark screen and the picture keeps scrolling up and down nonstop. When I tried the pc engine duo-r, i don't get a picture at all, just a black screen. I have 2 of the same sony wega CRT and got the same results with both TVs. Is the scart to component converter not compaible with my wega CRTs? The seller is going to send me another scart to component converter to make sure the one i have isn't defective. I want to play my saturn and duo-r in RGB dammit! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's the unit. I haven't has any problems like that on my Wega with my cheap SCART to Component ebay converter (which is probably the unit of which you speak).

I even used it with a supergun with no problems, so it even accepts c-sync.
